Concerning Mike Rowe again, some of my more "knowledgeable" friends here in San Francisco have gotten in touch with me recently to point out that "elbow-to-elbow-with-Romney" Rowe actually lives in a (get this) rent-controlled apartment in the Cow Hollow neighborhood of San Francisco. Rent-controlled apartment? What would his "bromance" boyfriend Mitt Romney think of him for taking advantage of a blatantly socialist advantage for putting a roof over his head? What would I think, if it were true, that a person as wealthy as Rowe would enjoy such a left-wing benefit to the detriment of someone of lesser wealth who might actually need the paltry remains of what still remains of rent-control laws here in the Aspen of California? Humans can be such nimble shape-shifters as circumstances allow, but why do they so often pose as pigs?
