  1. "prevents homophobic misinterpretation"
    When will these idiots realize that Christianity is homophobic to the core? Instead of cutting out the parts that are inconvenient to you, just dump the whole book.

  2. I don't get why there's always so much vitriol toward guys who need larger condoms. They're not all lying or trying to impress. It's not rocket science. Presumably people wear clothes that fit instead of smother them, why not the same with condoms? It's great that they're free at bars, but one size does not fit all.

  3. The best I can give the "Gay Bible" is a golf clap.

    Yes, the same word that was translated as "abomination" was translated elsewhere as "ritually unclean." Women who were menstruating were similarly "unclean." The story of Jonathon and David is really quite nice.

    But it's still just Bronze Age mumbo-jumbo and no translation can change that.

  4. Excellent news;
    Bork is if Scalia were similarly to depart, the future would look a lot more rational than these two Muppets would have it.

  5. @Paul R - Apparently you have never seen the demonstration where the guy pulls a condom over his head. Okay, that probably wasn't very comfortable, so the super hung so and so's should buy some condoms that will accommodate their immense wangs and carry them with them!

  6. Still waiting for a liberal Bible that liberal Christians can point to when telling me about this loving god they're supposed to have. One that would never, say, flood the planet, burn cities to a crisp, torture his kid self, or ruin a man's life for a bet.

  7. Comfort dogs? I don't get it - that's such a nice, thoughtful thing to do. Why would a christian church be involved with the project?

  8. It appears that the editors of the QJB didn't realize that the similarly named Queen James Version came out in 1998. Unlike the QJB which is a revision of the original 1611 KJV with eight verses reworked, the QJV is an outrageous verse-by-verse parody of the KJV - definitely for adults only.

  10. Well said Sabatghzl1098 & Caliban. Stuff like a "Queen James" bible makes the gay rights movement seem completely ridiculous.

  11. If you re-write the bible is it still considered a sacred book? The bible is what it is, if you don't believe in it then don't buy into it. Don't cherry pick what you like or don't like. Here's a better idea, RUN from religion!

    @Paul R, I've never encountered any vitriol when buying or using my magnums... quite the opposite.

  12. @ Luke The "King James" itself is a "Re-Write". There never was an "Original" Bible. What we call the "Bible" is a collection of various writing threw out history, combined with newer writings created over several centuries to reflect then current beliefs and customs. Also, the writings were not all of one language, but were collections of various translations. Each edition of any Bible is mearly what the then current publisher believes we mortals need to believe about a fictional "GOD".

  13. The QJB takes an 18th century revision of the original 17th century KJV and revises eight (8) verses to better reflect 21st century nonhomophobic usage. BTW - it's usually a shock to Bible Thumpers that the KJV they are using is not the original 17th edition that they thought they were worshiping instead of God.
