Marriage equality advocate Chelsea Clinton interviewed Pastor Rick Warren on Rock Center last night.
Warren accused Clinton of pursuing a "hidden agenda" when she asked Warren if there's a difference between being able to accept someone's right to marry whomever they choose to, and whether or not he would approve of their choice.
Responds Warren: "What do you expect a Christian pastor to answer? I don't believe the Bible anymore?...Gay marriage might become the rule someday. That doesn't mean it's right."

House Speaker John Boehner was handed a stunning defeat as he failed to call a vote on his so-called "Plan B" to avert the fiscall cliff on Wednesday evening, the NYT reports:
House Republican leaders abruptly canceled a vote on the bill after they failed to rally enough votes for passage in an emergency meeting about 8 p.m. Within minutes, dejected Republicans filed out of the basement meeting room and declared there would be no votes to avert the “fiscal cliff” until after Christmas. With his “Plan B” all but dead, the speaker was left with the choice to find a new Republican way forward or to try to get a broad deficit reduction deal with President Obama that could win passage with Republican and Democratic votes.
What he could not do was blame Democrats for failing to take up legislation he could not even get through his own membership in the House.
Stock markets around the world dove.
Boehner released a astatement after calling off the vote:
"The House did not take up the tax measure today because it did not have sufficient support from our members to pass. Now it is up to the president to work with Senator Reid on legislation to avert the fiscal cliff. The House has already passed legislation to stop all of the January 1 tax rate increases and replace the sequester with responsible spending cuts that will begin to address our nation's crippling debt. The Senate must now act."
The White House said it was still hopeful a deal could be reached.
"The President’s main priority is to ensure that taxes don’t go up on 98 percent of Americans and 97 percent of small businesses in just a few short days," said White House Press Secretary Jay Carney. "The President will work with Congress to get this done and we are hopeful that we will be able to find a bipartisan solution quickly that protects the middle class and our economy."
Earlier in the evening:
"The Republicans in the House have decided to run down an alley that has no exit while we all watch," Carney said.
He said President Obama "is ready right now" to negotiate a compromise but needs Republicans to come back to the table. Instead, Carney said, "They're wasting a lot of time on an effort that is pointless."
Pope Attacks Gay Marriage in Friday Address, Says Gays Destroy 'The Very Essence of the Human Creature'
The Pope went after gay marriage in a big way today, USA Today reports:
Gay marriage denies God and devalues human dignity, Pope Benedict XVI said Friday in his annual "state of the Church address at the Vatican.
Speaking to the Curia, the bureaucrats who run the global church of 1.2 billion Catholics, the pope said opposition to gay marriage is a way of defending humanity: "Whoever defends God is defending man." Benedict also quoted the chief rabbi of France, Gilles Bernheim, who has written that promoting a right to same-sex marriage is an "attack" on the traditional family made up of a father, mother and children.
The address echoed his recently released annual peace message, which said gay marriage, abortion and euthanasia are threats to world peace.
The Pope also posted a tweet that was pulled from his Curia address, tied to his attack on gays.
The AP has more on the speech:
The pope pressed his opposition to gay marriage Friday, denouncing what he described as people manipulating their God-given identities to suit their sexual choices — and destroying the very "essence of the human creature" in the process...
..."People dispute the idea that they have a nature, given to them by their bodily identity, that serves as a defining element of the human being," he said. "They deny their nature and decide that it is not something previously given to them, but that they make it for themselves."
"The manipulation of nature, which we deplore today where our environment is concerned, now becomes man's fundamental choice where he himself is concerned," he said.

Instagram has relented on Terms of Service objected to by many members, according to a message from its co-founder Kevin Systrom:
The concerns we heard about from you the most focused on advertising, and what our changes might mean for you and your photos. There was confusion and real concern about what our possible advertising products could look like and how they would work.
Because of the feedback we have heard from you, we are reverting this advertising section to the original version that has been in effect since we launched the service in October 2010. You can see the updated terms here.
Going forward, rather than obtain permission from you to introduce possible advertising products we have not yet developed, we are going to take the time to complete our plans, and then come back to our users and explain how we would like for our advertising business to work.
You also had deep concerns about whether under our new terms, Instagram had any plans to sell your content. I want to be really clear: Instagram has no intention of selling your photos, and we never did. We don’t own your photos – you do.
