President Obama Officially Sworn In For Second Term: VIDEO

ObamaInauguration

President Obama's second term has officially begun!

The president, First Lady Michelle Obama and their daughters joined Chief Justice John Roberts in the White House's Blue Room today for a private swearing in. The president placed his right hand on a copy of the Bible from his wife's collection as he retook the oath of office, an oath he'll take again tomorrow in front of a far larger crowd.

Until then, watch President Obama be sworn in for his second term AFTER THE JUMP.

  6. Hail to the Chief, indeed. It was a proud day when he was first sworn in. It's even greater today! Thank you, Mr. President, for winning the election.

  11. OK, to be completely shallow, Michelle's hair looks awful! Who thought bangs were a good idea?

  12. So wonderful to see the Obama daughters grown up and looking so beautiful. President Obama is definitely way better than the alternative of Romney. I'm wishing him well.

I hope Americans will continue to pressure the President to do the right for America and GLBT community, too. With corporations wanting to continue to take over our country, that is the only we can have our President and Government do the right thing.

On a separate note, I have to agree the bangs don't really work for the First Lady. I liked her hair from 4 years ago better than her current one.
