  3. That was a great time for music. "Don't Leave Me This Way" is how it feels to be gay today, with this "marriage"" push. Being gay had such an identity then. Sad that it's had to "leave this way"- Evolved into this push for mediocrity, straight ritual and above all, fear of not appearing "equal" -- Borrowing from those who have really been truly oppressed.

The days wreckless behavior of drug abuse,excessive sex,and trying too hard to isolate oneself from reality as being an "identity" amongst many gay men is no longer something to be proud of. Get use to it and get over it. Those of us born in the mid 1980s are striving for something of more significance for our futures.
