  2. The scenes out of Minnesota have been nothing short of amazing. A state many us of wrote off time and time again has not only enacted marriage equality but demanded it and is celebrating it like few other states have. Minnesotans have a lot to be proud of.

Now it's important to ensure Democrats retain control in Minnesota because several of the legislators who voted for equality will be in tough reelection fights and very well may lose. Minnesotans (Iowa too) need to put the final nail in the coffin against the bigots in the state in 2014 elections.

  4. THIS IS GREAT -- but many of them are small States

After Illinois goes and California is back on June 26, only about 1/3 of Americans will live in an equality State.
If Catholics will demonstrate and insist that the bishops stop blocking equality, we could get New Jersey, and perhaps Pennsylvania soon.

  5. Bob --

Glass half full: in the space of less than a decade, we've gone from same-sex marriage being recognized nowhere in this country to nearly a third of our population living in states where it's recognized.

    I think that's significant progress.
