'One Million Moms' Goes After Gender-Bending Superhero 'SheZow'

Predictably, AFA subgroup One Million Moms is not happy about the Hub Network program SheZow, which features a pint-size superhero who transforms from a boy into a girl to fight crime.

Writes One Million Moms, which is calling on the network to can the show:

Yes, you read that correctly. When Guy says the magic words "You go girl!" he becomes SheZow the superhero.

There is no doubt this superhero character will confuse kids. Children desire to be just like superheroes and will mimic a superhero's every action, even to the point of dressing up in costumes to resemble the characters as much as possible. It won't be long before little boys are saying, "I want to be a girl, so I can help people and save the world!"

Christian parents don't need a TV show to contribute to what might be a real problem for some children. Loving your child is to teach them right from wrong and find help when they need it. We are all sinners, but we try to do better and get help when and where we need it in our lives. Thousands of Christian counselors and pastors are available all across the country to help anyone who is struggling with any kind of sin including homosexuality, gender identity disorder, gender confusion or gender dysphoria.

  1. "Loving your child means ignoring who they are and telling them that if you're not who you demand them to be they'll be unloved in life and doomed to an eternity in Hell in the afterlife."

    thanks for sharing.

  5. "...It won't be long before little boys are saying, "I want to be a girl, so I can help people and save the world!..."

    Yes, because in the REAL world, women NEVER help people and NEVER could save the world. Their too busy starting and running all those wars that are real attempts to destroy the world and it's people;

All started by girls; Adolphina Hitler. Josephina Stalin, Polina Pot, Georgina W. Bush...Yes, all the world's greatest genocidal murderers are girls.

And all the men are just sitting at home, barefoot and pregnant and kneeling at the altar of the Religious Wrong.

One Million Morons is more like it.

  6. I watched this yesterday it's nothing at all like it's being reported here or by those bigots. He's not transgender: he's even tries to give the ring to his sister, but is stuck with it until he dies. He's clearlya dude even after he transforms.

  7. If Homosexuality is a sin, then the first people you need to counsel are the Heterosexuals who created them. Homosexuality is no more a sin than Heterosexuality. You don't need a bronze age book of deceptions written by men whose goal was to control society to let you know what nature has proven for millennium. Being Gay is a natural gift from the Creator of Everything. It's been documented in over 1500 animal species from pair-bonding to parenting. The proof is there in God's creations which are not deceived by Man's book of deceptions.

you know, they always talk about their "thousands of success stories" when they talk about ex-gays....uh... and then as an example, on comes some LITERALLY-LISPING queen of a man who, despite no longer having same-sex attractions, or something, and despite his utter loathing of All Things Gay, is pretty much the embodiment of every bloody "ism" that society deems to be "stereotypically gay". which is odd. because loose cannons like to pretend that those "isms" are affectations put on in order to...uh...attain entry into apparently-monolithic Gay Community. or something.

i mean, it doesn't make any sense, but that's to be expected.

literally every ex-gay i've seen speak about being an ex-gay was one unicorn short of being a self-contained float in a pride parade. it's so weird.

  12. The ignorant homophobes at OMM equate homosexuality with transsexualism. It's a shame that we do the same thing every time with use "LGBT" to describe ourselves. These are 2 different things and we should not be promoting OMM's lies.

  13. This is surprising coming from them? If after turning into the superhero, she proceeded to vacuum and tidy the house to the approval of a man or cook a delicious 4 course dinner in under 40 minutes, they might give it a shot.
We really shouldn't be concerned with these paragons of nothing. They are in actuality helping promote and publicize that which they would hope to defame in the public arena, nothing more.

  15. I think what disturbs me most is how little an organisation called One Million Moms understands children. Kids are *way* cooler than they give them credit for.

  17. CoupleDozenMoms ought to focus on the TRULY dangerous subtext of the show. If boys take a liking to fancy dress, they might be tempted to become Catholic priests--or, much worse, Temple accredited Mormons!
