  2. " A lot of people paid heavy prices...."
    - 'Lewd & Lascivious'.

And paid those prices not so long ago.
That's why ,IMO, our agenda is intense and urgent and fierce.
We want a hell of a lot more than the option of same sex marriage - that's just an option for many, it is not the motivation of all.
Absolute equality in open public displays of affection, absolute equality of protection and non-discrimination in the workplace, absolute equality of esteem of our relationships, and the planned and systematic implementation of a plan to eradicate all bigots from tax funded organizations.
And where " superstitious uses" ( ie, religious bigotry) stands in our way it should be high on our agenda to expose their hatred, homophobia and malicious intent behind their pretence of loving "the sinner".
Yes, too many of our predecessors have paid too high a price but we are only beginning to get up off our knees. ( no innuendo intended).

  3. I knew Sam a bit 20 years ago, I cut his hair. He was a lovely guy then, and he seems the same now. Very happy to see his professional and personal success. A good guy, a sterling friend to us all. Love him.
