Anti-Gay Conservative Tells FOX News Anchor Shepard Smith To Come Out: VIDEO

Cliff Kincaid

Cliff Kincaid of the misnamed Accuracy in Media and president of America's Survival, Inc. is calling for Fox News host Shepard Smith to come out of the closet. Having been called one of the most powerful homosexuals in the major media by Out magazine and The Advocate is enough to convince Kincaid of Smith's orientation, and the fact that Smith never asked for Out or The Advocate to retract those designations just proves it even more, evidently. That Smith condemned the Chik-fil-A Appreciation Day is just another nail in the coffin.

SmithKincaid himself wouldn't suffer such an attack on his character.

Now I don't know about you, but if I was listed as one of the most powerful homosexuals in the media [...] I would probably sue for defamation and collect a lot of money.

Though a completely rational and not at all specious response, Kincaid would have a hard time with the lawsuit given that being called gay in and of itself is not grounds for defamation.

  1. You first, Cliff.

Why are these conservatives more obsessed with someone's sexual orientation than we are?

  2. I doubt that Smith wants to remain "officially" closeted.
Fox News is probably the group this guy should be focusing on, as it's probably his employer that's telling Smith to remain in closeted. I think he's their most popular anchor and doubt they want to anger their geriatric viewers by seeming to tacitly endorse someone who is willing to say they're gay. Nope, those people are like Lindsey Graham's constituents: they like their homosexuals to keep quiet about it in the good old southern way.

  6. "And collect a lot of money"

To bad many a courts have already ruled that being called gay can no longer be considered defamation. Good luck with that bro.

  7. No one has the right to out another person. No one should tell another person that he should come out of the closet. There are many people who have too much to lose by coming out - even though things are rapidly changing on gay rights. Whether or not to come out is a decision that can only be made by the individual himself. I respect both closeted people and out and proud people equally.

  8. Why would I care about -- let alone want to watch -- any of this nonsense?? C'mon T'road, enough about brain-dead conservatards and their boring blather. Better -- much better -- things to do guys.

  9. Is it just me or does this guy's goatee not scream out "Insert c*ck here"?

He and so many suburban dads have that look I have seen all too often.

  10. I agree, Shep should come out of the closet.

It was only in CA and NY that state courts have ruled that there are no defamation grounds by calling someone gay. It might not be the same case elsewhere.

  11. None of your business you big creep,do they really need to be in everyone's bedroom. You know the old saying Repub need to get out of everyone's bedroom and the Dems need to get out of everyone's pockets

  12. what's ironic is that whenever public figures have announced they are gay, all of the conservatives comment on blogs: "We don't want to know - keep it to yourself" - every time. And yet, now they really need to know and let the world know?

  13. Leave Shep alone you big brut!

  15. Why don't they go after Matt Drudge, your standard issue racist gay republican dirtbag?

  16. The hypocrisy of these fools.

Gay person doesn't come out=They go out of their way to bait them into speaking on their sexuality and embarrassing them publicly, basically make fun of them.

Gay person finally does come out=Stop flaunting your orientation.

No win situation. It's about making our lives harder. Men like Cliff Kincaid are bullies. Shep Smith coming out would shut people like Cliff Kincaid up. Shep would be respected and given love by the media, and Cliff Kincaid will be recognized as the bigot he is. But as long as so many people in general remain closeted, it allows the attitude that being gay is shameful and something to deride to continue to prevail. Coming out breaks the walls down.

  17. Anyone who doesnt push his lifestyle in my face is fine with me. Back off from attacking Smith. He does a good job even if he is gay.
