Who will she rip off next?
Posted by: Sam | Oct 7, 2013 2:29:38 PM
she could have tried a little harder than that.

i get it and like it for what it is = a modern/ pop art venus rising......but her hair should be more free flowing
her portrayal is conforming too much to this age's uber structuredness...in other words her being a new version of venus with botecelli's broken in background is forgetting a bit of our PRIMAL nature. We are descended from animals after all not robots

Did all "teh haterz" miss the attribution to renowned artist Jeff Koons at the bottom?

Just because Jeff Koons did it doesn't automatically mean we have to like it. I do like a lot of his work, just not this.

All this Gaga hate is funny to read, considering how she was worshipped on this site years ago. I knew she was a fake from the beginning.

The statue Jeff Koons made of her is really just terrible. I'd really like the cover if it had a glamorous picture of the actual Gaga front & center instead.

I love this. I hope the album will be as fantastic as this cover art.
This IS a triumph of advertising. 400 billboards worldwide today "REVEALED" the new Gaga album cover, the biggest in Times Square. She's selling this product as ruthlessly as Jack in the Box selling their new stoner Munchie Meals.

Adrenan P (or is it Hagatha, or Adam, or Jason, or Rick? I keep getting your various usernames confused): you seem to care an awful lot about this subject. Then again, any story about a financially or socially successful female star seems to be a magnet for your vitriol. You're such a sad, obsessive troll.

The name alone of this pretentious album concept is enough to make me cringe — how this has anything to do with "art"; hobnobbing with famous artists does not make you one. A patron maybe. This is so un-Jeff Koons, it looks more like early Takashi Murakami sculptures (the milk squirting female, the jism-squirting male) from the early 2000s. This also looks like it could have been done in photoshop. Who needed to sculpt. I agree, desperate measures. The music just does not live up to an "artistic" level. Maybe on a purely celebrity level has any of this the smallest whiff of merit.

fart poop is a better name...
and for god's sake, the same hairdo as Madonna's secret project... couldn't they just change the wig on the statue?
