Have You Given Thanks for Ted Cruz This Holiday Season? - VIDEO

Ted_Cruz

With the Thanksgiving festivities soon to commence, hate group Family Research Council thinks it's the perfect time to honor the king of all stuffed turkeys: Senator Ted Cruz.

In a TV ad set to air in Texas during NFL Thanksgiving Day football games and the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, FRC praises Cruz for "step[ping] forward" to take on the "disastrous Obamacare scheme" by "doing everything he could to stop Obamacare before it could hurt Americans."

After all, nothing says "Happy Holidays!" like working to deny others the right to affordable health care.

  7. I think probably nothing is more dangerous to the welfare the soul or well-being of those around him than one's conviction of his own righteousness. And this seems to be equally so in both political and in so-called religious leaders.

  12. I don't want to wish anyone bad, but I don't see how anyone would give thanks to this nut job, who single handedly closed down the federal government in an undermining and sabotaging manner! Here's hoping Mr. Cruz gets coal in his stocking!

  15. Hopefully, he did us a favor by helping to elect a Democratic Congress in 2014 and a Democratic president in 2016.

  16. Actually, we should be thankful for Ted Cruz. He's become the GOP's leader as regards its insanity and hypocrisy, something easy to paint it and him with. He makes the job of showing how ludicrous Republicans have become so very easy. Granted, there are people out there who think he's the second coming (pun intended) but there will always be idiots and fools in our country. Better we know who they are and what they believe in, and with Ted as their leader, we'll have no problem keeping them in check. He's suck a complete and total jerk, who has no idea of how obnoxiously he comes across. He's perfection.
