Bristol Palin Chimes In On ‘Duck Dynasty’ Controversy

Everyone needs to leave Phil Robertson alone for expressing his beliefs. I think it’s so hypocritical how the LGBT community expects every single flippen person to agree with their life style. This flies in the face of what makes America great – people can have their own beliefs and own opinions and their own ways of life.

Everyone needs to treat others like God would, with love.

It goes both ways.

I hate how the LGBT community says it’s all about “love” and “equality.” However, if you don’t agree with their lifestyle, they spread the most hate. It is so hypocritical it makes my stomach turn. They need to learn how to respect others’ opinions and not just jump to the conclusion that everyone who doesn’t support homosexuality and gay marriage is homophobic.

They take the easy way out every time anyone speaks out about their beliefs on the Bible.

If I were Duck Dynasty, I would take my show to another channel.

So much disrespect.

Thanks, John McCain, for bringing the curse of the Palins upon us all. What an idiot filled family.

  2. Randy says

We’re supposed to take the advice of someone whose sexual carelessness resulted in an unplanned (i.e. unwanted) pregnancy?

    Uh, no.

  3. says

oh she’s so wise that everyone takes her advice seriously.
Also, did she retake her sex education class, especially the part about prevention teenage pregnancy ?

  4. Mary says

According to Levi, Bristol’s pregnancy was totally planned. She “loved kids” and so wanted him to father her child. Why she didn’t plan on getting married first I don’t know. I guess she felt that if her family could support her it didn’t matter whether her child had two married parents or if its Daddy was a regular visitor or absent deadbeat. There are some people on the right who think good intentions and right-wing political views compensate for everything else. And all this while they advocate “traditional morality.” Talk about hypocrisy that turns the stomach!

    @ Bristol Palin Stupid B****!

Everyone needs to leave LGBTs alone for expressing themselves. I think it’s so hypocritical how the anti-gay community expects every single flippen person to agree with their hateful, prejudiced lifestyle. This flies in the face of what makes America great – people can have their own ways of life.

Everyone needs to treat others like God would, with love.

    It goes both ways.

I hate how the anti-gay community says it’s all about “love” and “family.” However, if you don’t agree with their discriminatory, oppressive lifestyle, they spread the most hate. It is so hypocritical it makes my stomach turn. They need to learn how to respect others’ opinions and not just jump to the conclusion that everyone who doesn’t live exactly like they do is an abomination.

Anti-gays take the easy way out every time anyone speaks out about their differences.

    So much disrespect.

Ask Robertson what his take on how society should treat a sexually active unmarried woman based on his Bible teachings. Should that language be passed into law Bristol?

She at the very least had the sense to steer clear of the asinine ‘free speech’ argument.

  7. Paul R says

Even among conservatives, I seriously doubt that anyone care what Bristol has to say about anything. Most even shun her mother at this point.

  8. Joseph Singer says

And just why are any of the Palins worthy of even one inch of print these days other than they feel that their inhabiting a news cycle has gotten stale? The elder Palin was a half-term governor and the daughter was a reality show has been. Nothing to see here folks. Time to move on.

  9. RonCharles says

Well, we were all waiting for Bristol Palin’s opinion with bated breath!

The best comment so far is Mary’s, “A turkey commenting on a duck.”

Having said that, one should give Bristol credit for one thing. For a young woman who is painfully average in every respect, she has extended her Fifteen Minutes of Fame beyond what anyone could have reasonably expected.

The sad thing is that her former boyfriend Levi Johnston, who is fully her intellectual equal, but, in contrast, appears to be a likeable human being, had bad advice and management, and crashed and burned.

A controversy made in heaven (or some such place) if you are an evangie-fundie, tighty-righty whiny-con.

However, let’s be clear about an inaccurate statement in the summation of Mr. Walters.

To state that if one does not “support” judaism then one is “anti-semitic” is ridiculous and absurd. I don’t “support” any religion, let alone the root of euro-american judeo-christianity, since I view judaism and its bastard offspring–christianity and islam–as a patriarchal psychoses. That does not make me “anti-semitic”, since Semitic is more about the ethnic or racial category of one’s humanity and very much less about one’s religious bias.

One is born Semitic but one’s religion is not a genetic fact of birth. That is a social and cultural imposition of identity and does not defines the innate humanity of an individual.

  11. Bernie says

I am not sure why Bristol Palin gets any press……..but since she did, what else can one expect from her and/or family? Sarah and Bristol Palin are two of the MOST hypocritical folks…….

  12. Reality says

She’s an idiot, just like her mom. Very light on substance – not much knocking around in that bobble head of hers.

  13. Buster says

STOP REPORTING ON THE STATEMENTS OF INCONSEQUENTIAL PEOPLE!!!

It only gives them more perceived importance.

  14. PQ says

Awwww white trash Bristol is pissed off at all the gays because they ruined her chances of getting a guest appearance on duck dynasty.

  15. simon says

It seems that she thinks it is very easy to go from one channel to another. Especially when you said stupid things like that, the channel admin would think twice before hiring people who can’t keep their mouths shut.

  16. nola fred says

Bristol does your Bible have anything to say about bastard children?

    Deuteronomy 23:2

“No one of illegitimate birth shall enter the assembly of the LORD; none of his descendants, even to the tenth generation, shall enter the assembly of the LORD.

  17. Paul B. says

There’s something about this girls mouth that bothers me…and her lovely mom has the same congenital abnormality. It reminds me a little of the “close eye syndrome” we often see in the certain parts of the country that have a habit of inbreeding.

  18. newz4i says

First gays. Then Blacks. Then Japanese attacking Pearl Harbor. Next New Yorkers with all those gays. Bristol, keep your cool or you’ll find yourself on a Duck enemies list.

  19. Contrarian says

Walters, get a grip. Palin’s clan is unworthy of any regard or notice. Who cares? But for you to write that failure to wave the rainbow flag and march for gay marriage makes a person homophobic is wrong and counter-productive. It also slanders many supportive people whose attitude is live and let live. They may be neutral on marriage rights, and so what? Why not suggest that if I’m a supporter of Palestinian rights and not an uncritical advocate for Israel, I’m a Nazi? Equally ridiculous.

  20. Chris says

Isn’t this cafeteria Christian the one who had sex before marriage? And speaking of family values, why did she not obey her husband per the Bible? Maybe if she focused less on homosexuals and more in he sins she wouldn’t be on her one-way trip to hell? Just saying…

  21. grant says

They sadden me. It’s sometimes very difficult knowing there are people out there who hate me with the passion of a supernova. Who are they? Where are they from?

  22. Chris says

I wonder how her views would change if laws were passed denying women who had sex before marriage the right to marry? You cool with that Bristol?

  23. walter says

gee little bigots don’t fall far from the tree. isn’t she the last one who be expressing opinions on morality . she has learned from the master and is a publicity whore just like her mother . guess it sure beats working for a living

  24. anon says

“Just as not supporting Judaism is antisemitic…”

Whoa! I think that statement is overly broad. What does it mean to support or not support Judaism (or Hinduism, etc.)? Atheists don’t support Judaism and you would not broadly call them all antisemitic. Also, there are at least three mainline Jewish sects, which don’t agree on what constitutes proper religious worship. Further, Judaism evolved over the centuries from one set of practices to another. An anti-Semite is not someone that disagrees with Jews, but someone who thinks Jews are a lesser form of people. All Jews, not just the religious ones.
