PETA Calls for Cancellation of 'Duck Dynasty'

PETA sent along this statement regarding the Duck Dynasty suspension:

RobertsonPETA wants A&E to do more than suspend one of the characters on Duck Dynasty for damning gays. We call on the channel to challenge the entire crew of duck slayers to ignore Sarah Palin's self-serving slap on the back for spewing hate speech and deny that they are as anti-gay as they are anti-animal. All people who consider themselves followers of Christ should follow all His teachings—and that includes showing mercy, compassion, and kindness to all of God's creation, human and nonhuman alike. What's "sinful" is hating people and animals. PETA asks everyone who consider themselves to be Christian to reject hate speech and call for this show's cancellation.

  1. I knew PETA were idiots but seriously - I thought they at least were smart enough not to believe in the evil sky fairy known to his mentally ill followers as 'god'.

  2. Yes, get this bunch of racists and homophobes off television.
They can have all the free speech they want in the back woods where they come from.

  4. If PETA is for cancelling Duck Dynasty, then I am in favor of keeping this show on air. I'm going to have a BIG JUICY cheeseburger for lunch today in honor of PETA.

  7. The "Peta Heads" are evidently anti-God and are doing the work of Satan.

    Gen. 20-21
Then the man—Adam—named his wife Eve, because she would be the mother of all who live.d 21And the Lord God made clothing ""from animal skins"" for Adam and his wife.

God used his own creation to be the 1st clothing tailor on the earth for his creation of "man" Also the "PETA HEADS" is made up of mostly females and just like their original mother Eve. they have sinned against GOD by their actions ! So Down With The "Peta Heads" !!

  8. PETA wants people to die so animals can live. It's a misguided sense of empathy.

  9. PETA, what a bunch of sanctimonious, rigid a**holes. Though I loathe hate speech masked as Christianity, I got to tell you, I'd have a lot more fun out with the Duck Dynasty clan than i would with PETA. Although conflicted by there beliefs, I imagine they have more love and tolerance in their hearts than PETA does.

  11. A suppose we can put ol’ Phil up on a cross now and stick a spear in him since he’s the new martyr for the Christian Right. Last year, it was the Chick-Fil-A Chicken being branded as the new saint of Christianity for standing up for all that is Holy Matrimony in the eyes of the Church. These folks want to be on the wrong side of history with their public criticism of homosexuality but cry fowl (pardon the pun) when their own bigotry is examined in a public light. Batter and fry all the nonsense at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2012/08/holy-rollin-poultry-on-cross-chick-fil.html

  12. Everybody wants to claim Jesus. Haters, Lovers, and now vegitarians like PETA. What would Jesus do? He was probably just a typical 1st century Jewish "holy man" who believed in a lot of primitive unintelligent nonsense. Although he seems to have had a softer side than many of his era. The gospels say that he believed diseases were caused by evil spirits. A generation or so after his death, people who had never met him wrote gospels about him. They borrowed lots of Old Testament stories in order to prove that their "holy man" was bigger in death than he had ever been in life.
