Ellen, Sarah McLachlan, and James Franco Tame the Beasts in Super Bowl Ads: VIDEO

Ellen

Ellen hangs out with some bears, and a big bad wolf in her new Super Bowl commercial which she revealed today. But as far as celebrities, Super Bowl ads, and animals go, I'm afraid Sarah McLachlan has won my heart this year in the Audi "Doberhuahua" spot.

Maclachlan

Of course, James Franco just teased his Ford Super Bowl ad which features this tiger, but we've just got a taste of it.

Watch them all, AFTER THE JUMP...

Which is your favorite Super Bowl ad so far this year?

  1. Nothing beats the beer one with the puppy, the horse, and the hunk.

  3. If this is posted twice, well, I'll paraphrase.

    Doberhuahua is my choice.

Is Franco going to schtupft the tiger? I missed something…

  5. The dog is the victim here. The people, including the singer, are creepy.

  6. NONE of these even come close to the new Budweiser commercial for the Superbowl. It's called Puppy Love. Look it up. Super cute puppies and a super cute, guitar-playing, horse-breeding hunk.

In fact, that Audi commercial is rather stupid. And almost borders/suggest animal cruelty and abuse. The dogs are being thrown around, knocking into windows etc. Yeah! Great follow-up to the ASPCA ad, Ms McClachlan.

  8. @Paul, you do realize there's no such thing as a Doberhuahua, yes? No real animal was thrown around in the making of that commercial.

  9. 17 seconds? That wasn't nearly enough James Franco.
