'Science' Report On Homosexuality Prepared For Ugandan President

Drs Bitekyerezo and Baryomunsi

Though he thinks of gays as "abnormal", Ugandan President Museveni recently blocked his country's anti-homosexuality bill for being pushed through the system illegally and is now waiting to have scientific proof that homosexuals are made, not born, before he would sign off on the bill. Drs. Kenneth Omona, Sam Lyomoki, Medard Bitekyerezo, and Chris Baryomunzi have risen to the challenge with findings of their own that say that homosexuality is not an inborn trait. Said Dr. Bitekyerezo:

From the research that I have engaged in for some time ever since we were assigned by the caucus, I have discovered that there is no gene that is said to produce [homosexuality] as claimed by some people.

Dr. Omona continued with:

In one study [it is] revealed that actually 50 per cent of the homosexuals revert to heterosexuality if rehabilitated in time. This, in itself, reveals a behavioural aspect.

Of course, none of this has been peer-reviewed, their methodology has not yet been detailed, Dr. Omona hasn't indicated the difference between "rehabilitation" and "conditioning",  and controls for logical fallacies (correlation v. causation, false cause, personal incredulity, "the Texas sharpshooter", etc.) and biases have not been indicated. Additionally, the preliminary remarks seem to dismiss or ignore the 2010 Report of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in England on Human Sexuality submitted to the Church of England, which found that:

[S]exual orientation is biological in nature, determined by a complex interplay of genetic factors and the early uterine environment. Sexual orientation is, therefore, not a choice.

  1. Uganda an all equally homophobic nations (in Africa an elsewhere) that are blatantly ignoring modern science and WHO-Guidelines, replacing them by a set of religious and ridiculously ancestral criteria, should be excluded from the World Health Organization.

  3. Next up;

"Science proves that it took god six days to make the universe."

Let these 'scientists' sign a declaration that they have no allegiance to any religion before they make self interested pronouncements.

  4. This is due to the money being sent by tax free homophobes to these countries...

  5. This so called "expert" Dr. Kenneth Omona only qualified in medicine in 2010 and never practiced medicine instead he went into politics.

I guess that makes him uniquely qualified as an expert......in phuck all.

  6. I suspect that these "scientific" reports will be heavily sourced to people like Paul Cameron.

  7. what i don't understand - why does it make a difference to anyone else besides me and my partner whether it's biological or choice? it's not like we were asking for anyone else's permission.

    oh, right - religianity.

  8. Sam Lyomoki is a "workers MP"....just arrested about getting involved with the investigation of a woman MP.

Another uniquely qualified expert on homosexuality.

Uganda; home of Idi Amin, and uniquely bigoted and religion obsessed. When are these evangelicals going to be exposed as the snake oil sales people that they are ?

  11. These upright-primates continue to make a mockery of what it is to be human!

They can join their Neanderthal cousins in Russia to masturbate over their mutual lack of logical and scientific reasoning!

  12. I wonder who is correct, Dr. Omona and his Ugandan associates or the Royal College of Psychiatrists in England? LOL

  13. Any "behavioural aspect" implies the rest is biological. The "doctors" are stupid.

  14. @ JackFknTwist, Thanks for that extra information. I'm not at all surprised. No real expert would engage those premises and conclusions.

In regards to your question, "When are these evangelicals going to be exposed as the snake oil sales people that they are ?" Unfortunately, despite being exposed over and over they continue to thrive. That's what happens when we live in an overwhelmingly and stiflingly homophobic society, and anti-gay people in positions of authority indoctrinate and apply [attitude inoculation] to people who don't know better. When people don't know other gays, and they aren't educated in school, or on TV after school specials, or PSAs, when the only debunking that happens occurs for a gay audience, and the only information that floats around is anti-gay homophobic information, this is the result.

  15. These men are participants in crimes against humanity. They may not understand the implications of their actions so let's make it as clear as possible. From Museveni on down each and every one will be held responsible for what they partake in.

Each.And.Every.One. of you will be brought to justice.

  21. The USA should boycott Uganda and all countries that have criminal laws against gays and this includes India. We need to put our money where our mouth is. If we are against punitive laws for gays then we need to stop supporting the country.
