Donald Trump Says He Was Joking When He Said Jimmy Carter Was Dead: VIDEO

Trump

While disparaging Obama over the economy in a speech at CPAC yesterday, bag of hot air Donald Trump referred to President Jimmy Carter as "the late, great Jimmy Carter."

It's what he meant to say of course:

Of course I don't think Jimmy Carter is dead-saw him today on T.V. Just being sarcastic, but never thought he was alive as President, stiff!

Watch and be glad you're not at CPAC, AFTER THE JUMP...

  1. Judging from the Donald's petrified hair, HE'S already been embalmed & is just waiting for the Crypt-Keeper to pick him up! When did Trump suddenly become relevant to anything?

  2. The party of personal responsibility sure does seem to have an issue with actually taking responsibility for themselves. There is always an excuse when they get caught being wrong.

  3. The Donald went to the same public speaking classes as Clint Eastwood.

I hear the Hair Club for Men posted Trump's obituary notice in their monthly newsletter.

    I'm here all weekend, folks!

  5. And orangutans everywhere cheered and applauded with glee as their first ever representative attempted his hand (weave) at human politics.

Their hope is that their baboon has better success than that hyena candidate Palin and the robots' flip-flopping Romney.

  7. I'm not sure what the issue is with the joke. It's not funny, but clearly sarcastic, since hardly anyone is calling or ever did call Jimmy Carter "great", and DT would never call anyone but himself great.

  8. Because he's an intolerant little prick of anyone else's sense of humor. Has sued many for their Right to Free Speech, especially those paid to do so as political pundits, we have very low tolerance for his brand of non humor and expect his apology at every non factual comment.

    In LONG FORM.

  9. A 67 year old man makes an ageist joke. Really?

  10. What a total embarrassment to the world. Fortunately, nobody outside the USA even knows who he is. Take that, the Donald.

  11. I can be glad I'm not at CPAC without watching his horse sh*t.

  12. Crass over class must be his motto.

I'm always amazed that people are willing to live in a building with his name emblazoned on it.

But he's certainly found his audience at CPAC.

  13. Well, if anyone knows that a joke is, it's certainly one of America's biggest jokes, Donald Trump.
