Effeminate gays have no real female friends. They’re just being used by women, who don’t truly value gay men and are in fact threatened by them. They encourage effeminacy in gay men and exploit it to further their goal of desexing and weakening the threat gay men pose. Please abandon the false effeminate persona and women lose their power over gay men. Stick up for your true, masculine selves!

The eyelashes on that boy are CRAZY!
I’d run to a model agency if I were him (unless he his 5 foot 3 of course).

Hey Roger/Rick/Enchantra, after you’ve received psychiatric treatment for your multiple personality disorder, clue into the fact that “effeminate gays,” as you call them, don’t need your deadly earnest advice to butch it up and “stick up for [their] true masculine selves” in 2014 any more than they did in 1980 when fem-phobic clones were swishing into the gym to pump themselves up to Tom of Finland proportions. Internalized homophobia is so deadly dreary, and especially ridiculous today.

  6. Kenneth says

Don’t feed the troll, she’s just mad they boarded up her favorite glory hole. By they, I mean the other closet cases who were disgusted by her drooling on the other side. Pretty bad she’s so disgusting she can’t even get one of her own.

I don’t understand. Why is it that he isn’t wearing a shirt? Don’t gay men own any shirts?

  11. says

A few months ago jezebel.com posted an article about gay male sexism and harassment. It showed up in one form or another in other publications. I didn’t agree with it but the comments and responses from commentators demonstrated a frustration with the gay best friend meme. Both by gay men and straight women.

  12. Brian1 says

I hope some of the old-time commenters stop by here. With Rick’s multiple personality disorder issues exploding here, don’t we now have conclusive proof that Rick and Jason are the same person? I’ve always said this but I know several commenters who believed they were two different people. Seems clear it’s just one demented troll, not two.

  13. rick says

I have no real female friends. I was constantly used by women especially my mom, who don’t truly value me and are in fact threatened by me. My mom encourage effeminacy in me and exploit it to further her goal of desexing and weakening me. I tried to abandon my true effeminate persona so that she will lose her power over me. I can’t even get it up now and am trying without success to put on a masculine facade!

  14. rick says

Don’t worry. I have just been released from what they called “institutionalization”. I have no idea what I am talking about. I have the feeling that they are making arrangements to put me back in.

  15. Bill says

@anon : if you need a shirt, you haven’t worked out enough to be shown in this type of video.

  16. robroy says

From my experiences about 1/2 of all gay best friends started out as closet cases looking for a beard or girls/women who saw the obvious from the start. I also notice a lot more gay best friends for women who have crummy marriages/boyfriends. YMMV but it is a trend I have noticed over time. And that means best friend not very close friend.

I wonder why no one is ever so invested in straight guys with lesbian friends? They so exist.

  17. Mike says

If she is the “GOOD” Lize, does that make him the “Holy Scott” Gardner who gets “BAD” quick? Hmm . . .

Uh, is Rick the troll having a breakdown with his multiple personalities?

  18. Sean Maloney says

Wow, that guy is prettier than a lot of women I know. I guess perfection does, indeed, exist.

  19. Paul R says

He’s gorgeous and funny. And I’m not about to complain about his absent shirt.

The only thing worse than Rick and his various “covers” is when people pretend to be him and post stupid things under his name(s). Giving him attention of any sort is a terrible idea, and stoops to his level.

  20. steve says

awww…I remember his boyfriend from San Diego – small-world-ish. nice guy. it does seem like sometimes that all gay men know each other.

  21. Stan D says

Just as with model Holden Nowell who appears in Carley Rae Jepsen’s video ‘Call Me Maybe’, Scott Gardner is a professional male model as well.

I’m tired of seeing all these vacuous gay men. The girl looks like she has a little personality. The guy needs to develop some kind of spark of life before he makes any more vids. Thumbs down.

  24. simon says

    will:
I don’t think it is because he is gay. It is because he is young. There are a lot of shallow straight guys.

  25. tristram says

I wonder what it would be like to be that good looking. Definitely a 1 in a 1 000 000 gene collision.

  26. BrokebackBob says

I want to see him without all the makeup.
It’s almost as bad as that woman next to him who is using him and encouraging his effeminacy.

  27. Chuck says

I do not mind fems if they exhibit strong personality. It’s men who behave like weak, bitchy, shallow, consumerist, vapid women that I dislike.

  28. Mags says

    Everyone is a bit gaycist;)

That clip was funny and cute. I really thought his act was a parody of how often the misogynistic type would say to just shut-up and look pretty.

  29. SpaceCadet says

This dude is definitely very pretty but pretty ain’t everyone’s cup of tea. And while he is attractive, I’m not in the least attracted to him.

  30. will says

I don’t find him hot or attractive either — he’d have to have a brain to do that. It’s funny because we’re treating shirtless guys here the way women used to be treated — objectified into sex objects — which was a factor in the late-60s women’s lib feminist movement with Gloria Steinem. I suppose we’ll need our own Gloria Steinem in a few years.

  31. Jason says

I say to Rick and his alter-ego same same poster: You have no idea what a “real” man is. Be real. Be yourself. Be masculine, feminine or both! My partner is very femme sometimes (not all the time in every way) and I would not want to change him in any way. Our real self is assaulted by trying to perform an act. Don’t put me or anyone in a box. Gay men should be free to express their true self in many ways. Gender non-conformity is a legitimate self expression. You may be homophobic toward yourself if you can’t accept that. I feel sad for you.

  32. TRH says

At the risk of stating the obvious, there’s only one reason any of us clicked on this story and why it’s also posted at the top of the homepage–his gorgeous, flawless chest and face. The video was mildly amusing but what’s the age-old bitchy phrase? “See Tarzan, hear Jane”. No thanks.

  33. distinguetraces says

I’m seriously a little worried about the “Rick et al” commenter.

I’ve been on the edge myself. You’re in my thoughts.
