  1. Little behind the times on the DC Guerilla Gay events? That story is from 2009...and here I was thinking I had been missing five years of parties.

  2. Zac and coke. I wonder who's riding that around?

  3. The fake Prince Harry series sounds wonderfully awful. Wish Ryan Seacrest wasn't involved with it because it may be too much of a trainwreck to pass up.

  4. Came to make the DC comment. I've lived in three cities since GQB ended, but I did notice some of the people involved reliving the 5 year mark on Facebook recently.

  7. The article about Laverne Cox just brings back an issue that's been discussed on this blog many times.

I hope that Ms Cox becomes a major celebrity and maybe even a star. But she won't be the first.

Candy Darling and Holly Woodlawn were "underground" or cult figure stars 50 years ago. They were/are Transsexual

Sylvester was a Transgender star, but he was not Transsexual.

Then you must remember Jackie Curtis. Very, very, very talented (some say a genius). Jackie presented him/herself as a woman on and off--never all the time like Candy and Holly. So Jackie was Gay. This is why I can't see any clear separation between Gay and Transgender.

I wish Laverne Cox all the luck in the world.

  8. What's with these autoplay videos that have suddenly appeared? They're almost as obnoxious as those live tarot card readers that were everywhere a couple of years ago. I'll be back when you get rid of them.

  9. God help this world. The white race is headed for extinction due to low birth rates.

Into the void come the Chinese and their unbelievably cruel (see story linked above), polluting, environment-destroying, soulless, irresponsible, materialistic, totally unethical and immoral people.....presiding over a planet that is being overrun by illiterate, unintelligent, homophobic black Africans with their rabbit-like birth rates....who will provide the dirt-cheap labor the Chinese need to bring their planet- and humanity-destroying plans to fruition.

Thank God I will be long gone when the end comes......

  10. A limp wrist on Niall. No surprise there.

  11. Boy, Rick, you lost control this evenin'. Usually you don't get so emotional.

@ "Thank God I will be long gone when the end comes......"

Yep, well, I guess the end is near. Farewell, b.tch.

  12. I love Laverne Cox. Who wouldn't? Difference between her and all the people Derrick mentioned is that she is poised to become the first major *mainstream* transgendered star.

  13. Rick...

    ...Nevermind. You're a lost cause.

ROTFLMAO! This would be legit if Paper Magazine was only picking candidates from a tranny bar. BTW, does Laverne still have a cox? You can tell by looking at it that the cox was huuuge!

  16. Tyler, you're joke is as lame as your bigotry. Hopefully you are 12 or under otherwise you are really sad.

    Posted by: SpaceCadet | Mar 27, 2014 7:38:42 PM

  17. Oh, c'mon have a sense of humor. I don't think even Ms. Cox would say that she passes. And the name thing is just too good to pass up. You would think that when she was changing her name to Laverne that she would change that surname too.
