  1. Sorry but who really thought Zach Efron and Michelle Rodriguez were a good idea. Come on, some PR needs to be fired.

There's a lot of blind items about them, and people literally laughing at the idea. If you want a PR stunt for publicity, at least one of the members of the couple should be able to fake being straight, and this is not the case

  2. Why do people think Zach Efron and Michelle Rodriguez are together for publicity? It doesn't look to me like they are trying to be filmed.Besides Michelle Rodriguez is openly bi and Zach is str8

  3. Mike: Yes, he is very very straight.
And she is not bi at all, she is lesbian.

And people think they are together for publicity because they are together for publicity.
We are not in the 50's anymore but people in Hollywood didn't get that yet.
People are skeptical about celebrity relationships because the truth is most of them are totally fake, even when both are straight (wich is not the case here)

  4. I'm pretty certain that the activists urged the music festival goers to let them in before by threatening violence and showing their penises. No?

  5. "less that 3% of the population identifies as LGB"

The legitimate objection to this isn't that it may reduce political influence. The results are what they are. We don't want manufactured or false results.

The real objection is "identifies as". Who cares? We should be asking people not (only) who they pretend to be, or who they align with, but who they are attracted to, and who they form relationships with.

  6. Oh look, Carmelo, the alias Rick trots out to only post transphobic comments, is back to prove to all of us just how successfully and inbred wimp with 6 brain sells can be with a keyboard and internet access.

Rick, you only hate Trans people because you actually hate women. And you hate women because you're actually a piece of human garbage. And a troll.

  7. "Guy goes to Comic-Con on shrooms"

His comments sound like my internal (sometimes external) monologue all the time. He should ALWAYS be on shrooms. Apparently I'm self-shrooming and don't need the drugs.

  8. "Michelle is openly bi."

Not uniformly by any means. When Kristanna Loken was claiming to be Rodriquez's girlfriend, Michelle was vehemently denying being bisexual at all. As far as Efron, that goes quite nicely with that little 2% bit. You accept him as straight because that's how he chooses to publicly identify, which is not necessarily indicative of his actual experience any more than it is of anyone else's.

The fact that one does not identify as gay in no way means that one has not engaged in sexual activity with members of the same gender, otherwise our culture would have no need for a phrase like "on the down-low." Self-identification is one of the weaknesses in sex research, in fact, because people are more likely to avoid identifying as gay to avoid negative reaction FROM THE INTERVIEWERS.
