  1. Diplo (a straight producer) and Trans artifacts have no reason to be on a gay blog. You wonder why this site keeps attracting freaks? It's because you post stories about freaks. Is it any wonder that normal gay men have made so little progress when all we obsess over is self mutilators and straight guys? Fellas, look at your life, look at your choices.

  3. "Insurance companies are trying their hardest to deny contraceptive coverage for women."

That's a valid, if minor, issue. But I notice the feminist you linked to doesn't care at all that the ACA specifically exempts insurers from funding contraceptive surgery for men. She glosses over it: "... a limited number of categories that are excluded..." It may be a limited number of categories, but it just happens to be the most effective contraceptive method for men.

She then says "Guidance from the federal government clearly states that the full range of FDA-approved methods of birth control must be covered" which is plainly not true, and she knows it. The ACA website itself says that vasectomy (and castration, approved, but not really a popular option) are not covered.

While the law should of course be enforced, I don't otherwise care if a woman chooses to pay less than $80 per month for a NuvaRing, just because her insurer would pay for the same hormones in a pill form but she refuses to use the pill. THAT is the reason it's "not a functional health care system"?? Give me a break, Shakey.

  5. "Westboro Baptist Church sign does the Ice Bucket Challenge"

They've done more than that. They've accepted a challenge to be flown first-class to Iraq, to protest ISIS murders of Christians.

We may not be hearing from some of them ever again... unless they cheat and protest at some non-ISIS location.

  7. GOOD GOD! You have got to be kidding me

I thought the part about trans activists getting upset at BIOLOGICALY born WOMAN with a VAGINA and UTERUS, feminist, pro gay, anti-abortion Martha Plimpton for using the word VAGINA was the most asinine thing a trans activist has ever done

Good on Martha with saying she will continue to use the word VAGINA

  8. sorry meant pro-choice Martha Plimpton

  9. Trollroad trolls are trolling the News post? Who even reads posts on this column?

Meanwhile, I found one error: nothing Dan Savage has ever written or will ever write is a "must-read".

  10. Aaron Paul was as perfectly cast as "Jessie" in Breaking Bad as any actor has ever been in any role......but I suspect he will be a one-hit wonder. I hope he invested his money well.....

  11. because you can't be a homosexual trans person? i.e. a biological woman who identifies as male and is attracted to men.

    Posted by: Derrick | Aug 22, 2014 8:10:11 PM

  12. I actually know a few "homosexual trans" people. In fact, that is what made it easiest for me to understand how gender identity and sexual attraction were separate issues.

Oh, and that was back in the 90's. But, there are lots and lots of communities that come together here in LA, at least where I hang out.

  13. At great expense; and with pain and constant upkeep, a male to female transsexual has a vagina created. So they can be a woman and not a man. Isn't it kind of an insult to say she is a trans or cis or whatever woman unless it's necessary for the discussion? Likewise female to male. Unless one wants to be out as a third sex. Which is fine. But the Dear Abbey in me says manners would require that one assume the effort was to go as if born the opposite sex. Allegedly this is the criteria used by the professionals who perform these operations. It is complicated if you try and juggle it all. Where is the trans Abbey for the 21st Century?

  15. There really is no limit on the insanity of transgenders. They are truly sick people. If I hadn't read that Savage piece, which has sources and links, I wouldn't have believed it. The trans activists have declared that women are no longer allowed to describe their own genitalia. They have to use words and phrases approved by "transmen" now. It is no longer allowed to use the word "vagina" because that makes "transmen" feel uncomfortable. Women have to refer to their vaginas as "front holes."

These people are the most vile, misogynistic, sick b@stards I've seen in a long time. Believe it or not, I was actually pro-trans up until recently. I didn't even think much about it. I just supported them. I didn't object when "LGBT" was invented. I was totally wrong. My sister is at college and if any "transmen" tell her how to describe her own body, I'm going to get them expelled for sexual harassment.

  16. Dear Smithsonian,

When selecting transgender artifacts for your collection, you must be sure that the items reflect the reality of the lived transgender experience. Here is a list of items to consider for the collection:

    - Severed head of the wife of trans killer Robert Kosilek

    - Bill to taxpayers for Mr. Kosilek's electrolysis

    - Print-out of Craigslist ad by transwoman Donald Waelde seeking sexual liaison with a horse

    - Knife used by CeCe McDonald to kill a human being

    - DVD of film by trans activist Laverne Cox celebrating killer CeCe McDonald

    - Dow Corning silicone breast implants

    - Adam's Apple-concealing neckwear

    - Psych ward admissions forms

    - Suicide notes

  17. I don't agree with Justice Ginsburg. Well, I agree that the campaign finance ruling was wrong, but I think the BIGGEST mistake is Ginsburg, Breyer and Sotomayor not whipping Scalia's ass out behind the Supreme Court building.

    Posted by: Jerry | Aug 22, 2014 11:36:07 PM

  18. Srsly wtf are trans activists thinking? They are going to dictate to half the world's population that they can't say vagina? The whole thing is so sick and crazy. I guess they don't realize they are going turn women all over the world into their enemy. Can't believe how stupid transgenders are.

    Posted by: Immaletyoufinish | Aug 23, 2014 2:25:57 AM

  19. You know what? F^ck the transgenders. I'm done. I've been defending them up until now but no more. Telling women how to define their own bodies? Telling women that they can't use a legitimate term to describe their own genitalia? Telling women that they have to refer to a beautiful part of their bodies, which gives them pleasure and which bring forth new life, as a "front hole"? No, I'll be standing with women and against these disgusting transgender wackos.

  20. It seems online transsexual activists won't be happy until literally everything upsets them.

    Posted by: Knock | Aug 23, 2014 10:33:32 AM

  21. You gotta be really fukkin dumb if you think a couple of radical trans activists represent the opinion and values of all trans people.

Is this your first time on the Internet? Here's a helpful beginner's tip: The most extreme rises to the surface, that's what gets clicks.

You can continue supporting trans people while rolling your eyes at this silly vagina business ... if you have a high enough intellectual capacity, that is.

    Posted by: crispy | Aug 23, 2014 11:40:16 AM

  22. Methinks come people are a little over-transfixed by the transgender issue - I'm just obsessing that Tom Hanks gives Colin Firth a run for his money in the sexy… whatever. I trust that I'm generally a happier and more well-adjusted individual than all of the above.
