Sam Raimi's remake of the classic horror film Poltergeist is well on its way to terrifying absolutely everyone this summer, and what's sure to ramp up the horror-meter to maximum pants-soiling is the fact that the film appears to largely be favoring practical effects over special effects. Sadly, Zelda Rubenstein is no longer with us, but the creepy clown makes an appearance, so as long as Raimi avoids the mistakes that plague sequels and remakes, Macy's can look forward to record underwear and jeans sales this July.
