NCRM reports that toy manufacturer Fisher-Price has joined forces with Proud Parenting on a new LGBT parenting project.
The two organizations have launched a photo gallery showcasing some of America's three million same-sex couples with their children.
The program aims to increase the visibility of gay parents and to encourage interaction and support between LGBT parents, their friends and their allies.
Jeff Bennett, Founder and Editor-in-Chief at Proud Parenting, said:
“We are excited to partner with Fisher-Price on the Proud Parenting LGBT Family Photo Gallery. With a long-standing history of diversity and inclusiveness, they are now leading the way for a new generation of families.”
In 2013, Fisher-Price owner Mattel – which has a score of 95 percent on the 2015 HRC Corporate Equality Index – launched an It Gets Better video in support of LGBT youth.
