Donald Trump on Friday retweeted a tweet directed at him from @WhiteGenocideTM, a twitter user who supports the idea of “white genocide”. The tweet featured a modified photo of Jeb Bush, looking haggard, standing outside Trump Tower with a “Vote Trump” sign.

The Southern Poverty Law Center explains:
White genocide is an idea that white people, far from ruling most of the developed world, are actually being subjected to a genocide that will ultimately wipe out their race. In recent years, the idea has been spread through something known as the “The Mantra,” a 221-attack on multiculturalism written by Robert Whitaker, a cantankerous segregationist making a presidential bid this year on the racist American Freedom Party ticket. The Mantra ends with the phrase, “Anti-racist is code word for anti-white.”
Already, the Tweet has garnered considerable attention on the racist right. On Stormfront, the nation's largest white supremacist website, the user Fading Light said, “[T]his is a GOOD thing. [Trump] willingly retweeted the name. The name was chosen to raise awareness of our plight. Helped propagate it. We should be grateful.”
The profile — with about 2,300 followers — used the name “Donald Trumpovitz,” linked to a website containing a pro-Adolf Hitler documentary, featured a background photo with red lettering saying “Get the F— Out of My Country” and had a location of “Jewmerica.” The account also includes a photo of George Lincoln Rockwell, founder of the American Nazi Party.
The account's Twitter feed was largely a collection of retweets about violence allegedly committed by African-American suspects and anti-Arab posts.
