Gina, a 16-year-old from Sacramento, California, came up with a genius plan to come out to her family.
The family was making a trip to Disneyland on June 19 and that's where it would happen, Metro reports:
While riding Splash Mountain with her mum, and just as the flume plummeted five storeys past the on-ride camera, a grinning Gina held up a sign reading ‘I'm gay!' in large rainbow letters.
She later shared the souvenir pic on Twitter, writing: ‘this is how I came out yesterday lolol'.

Said Gina to Buzzfeed:
“I am not the type of person to have a deep, sit-down conversation, so I wanted to tell them in a lighthearted and fun way. I love funny ride photos so I figured I could make the sign just in case I decided to go for it, and I did. My dad and brother said they were already 70% sure I was gay but my mom had no idea. But I knew they would be super accepting.”
