Corrupt scumbag Tom DeLay appeared on Hardball yesterday, and, aside from demanding to see Obama's birth certificate, produced the shoe he's wearing on his upcoming stint on Dancing with the Stars. DeLay took the opportunity to mock the heeled shoe as girly.
Says DeLay: "Look at this shoe. A Texan doesn't wear a shoe like this. This is what they're makin' me wear. It's a little pump with high heels."
Asks Matthews: "Aren't you gonna be a little light in that shoe, I think?"

Chris Matthews and Joe Scarborough have it out on Hardball over state vs. federal on marriage equality, but Matthews manages to get at the root of Scarborough's discomfort:
SCARBOROUGH: "I'm still trying to figure out what two gay guys marrying in Vermont have to do with my marriage in Florida."
MATTHEWS: "What about two gay guys in Florida?"
SCARBOROUGH: "Well that's a little bit closer to home."

Chris Matthews asks Buchanan: "What do you do with people who are gay, and they live together for 20, 30 years - are they allowed to create a bond that is legal Why not create a bond?"
Buchanan answers: "If I knew two men, together, or somethin' like that, and one of 'em was sick and dying, would I give his friend time off to go see him? Of course I would."
Sure, Pat'll give 'em maybe a few hours.
