Howard Stern Thinks Sam Smith is a Fat, Ugly, Gay One-Hit Wonder: VIDEO

Counting down the top five songs in the country on his SiriusXM radio show this past week, Howard Stern served up some colorful commentary on crooner Sam Smith and his hit single "I'm Not the Only One".

Said the shock jock:

"He's an ugly motherf--ker...I like that he's chubby and gay. That's why I love him. He's one of those guys I feel like, he's really good but I feel like that will be his only hit song...that's how good he is. He's fat and gay and little girls worship him. That's when you know you have a good song and a good voice."

On Thursday, we reported Sam's split from boyfriend Jonathan Zeizel.

Jonah Hill on Anti-Gay Slur: 'What I Said in That Moment Was Disgusting' — VIDEO

Jonah Hill spoke with Howard Stern this morning after TMZ aired a video of Hill hurling a homophobic slur at a photographer.

Said Hill:

"This is a heartbreaking situation for me...I'm upset...From the day I was born, and publicly, I've been a gay rights activist...This person had been following me around all day saying hurtful things. I played into exactly what he wanted and I said a disgusting word...It's bulls--t and I shouldn't have said that. I'm happy to take the heat for using this disgusting word. What I won't allow is for anyone - it would break my heart to think that anyone - especially with all the work that I've done and all the loved ones that I have - that I would be against anyone for their sexuality."

Neil Patrick Harris Tells Howard Stern He Was Offered Job as Letterman's 'Late Show' Replacement: AUDIO

Neil Patrick Harris sat down with Howard Stern today to talk about his career, how coming out affected it, and what we may see from him in the future. The former star of How I Met Your Mother and current glamazon of Broadway (in Hedwig and the Angry Inch) told Stern that CBS approached him to host the Late Show after David Letterman bid the program farewell. NPH was looking for something a little more theatrical, though.

Vulture reports:

"[Les Moonves and CBS entertainment chairman Nina Tassler] called me in and sat me down and asked if [Late Show] was something I'd be interested in doing," Harris says. "In that instance, I felt like I knew what my skillsets were and I kind of knew what it is that I wanted to do after [How I Met Your Mother] … so I was surprised he pitched me that idea," he says. He wasn't interested in the 11:30 slot, nor was he interested in the 12:30 one. "I think I would get bored of the repetition fast, and the structure of it is so set," Harris says. "I don't have any interest in doing monologue, commercial, sketch, guest, guest, guest, musical act, good night."

Which is not to say Harris wouldn't be interested in another kind of show. "I liked this weekly variety thing," he says. "I think if it's weekly, and people really want to see it, and you trust that there's a lot of really great shit on there, then you're gonna get the guests to want to come on there — a weekly thing you'd have more time to prep for stuff, you could pre-tape stuff that would be really exciting, you could flesh it out more."
