Jane Lynch Remembers Cory Monteith on 'The Tonight Show': VIDEO

In an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jane Lynch talked about her Glee co-star Cory Monteith, saying "I don't think he left one day unlived. He was a real bright light in our family. We've lost a really great guy."

Monteith was found dead last weekend in a Vancouver hotel room last weekend of an overdose of heroin and alcohol.

Jane Lynch Talks to Larry King About Divorce, Cory Monteith: VIDEO

Jane Lynch, who filed official divorce papers on Friday to end her marriage to Lara Embry, sat down with Larry King on the second season premiere of his show Larry King Now on digital on-demand network Ora TV.

Lynch told King that the split was amicable: "We have to remain adults, which we have...We keep everybody — especially Haden's — good in our mind."

Lynch also talked about the cast of Glee, and Cory Monteith. The interview was taped before Monteith's untimely death in Vancouver over the weekend. Lynch said Monteith was "doing great" after a stint in rehab.

Five Summer TV Series Everyone's Talking About

Just because many consider summer to be television's "off-season," doesn’t mean there aren’t still plenty of new shows making their debut. Sure, some (much) of it is junk, as many networks burn off series that failed to inspire enough confidence to bow in the fall. Some shows manage to build a following despite the odds -- Seinfeld, Sex & the City and The O.C., to name a few -- but it's too early to tell which of the 2013 summer slate will become the next big hit.

Take a break from catching up on last season and binge-watching established shows on Netflix to check out these new series heating up the summer small screen.

Jane Lynch Divorcing

Jane Lynch is divorcing her wife Lara Embry, People magazine reports:

Lynch_embry"Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter," Lynch says in a statement.

Lynch, 52, and Embry, 44, met at a 2009 fundraiser in San Francisco at which Embry was being honored. Shortly after confirming their engagement, the women married on Memorial Day in 2010 in an intimate ceremony in Sunderland, Mass., one of the few states where gay marriage is recognized.
