Stonestreet_ferguson

Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson stopped by Jimmy Kimmel last night to talk about their upcoming wedding on Modern Family. Ferguson talked about how his real life wedding to Justin Mikita prepared him for this one, and Jimmy talked about what a big deal it is for a Disney-owned network to feature the wedding of two men in prime time.

Said Stonestreet: "This just feels really great to know that at the end of 5 years Mitch and Cam are having a little bit of completion of their relationship."

They also said that they got a bit choked up at their fake wedding.

Eric Stonestreet Talks About Modern Family's Upcoming 'Gay Agenda'

Ericstonestreet[SPOILERS]

Eric Stonestreet, the Emmy-award winning actor who plays Cam on ABC's "Modern Family" (and appeared in a hilarious 2011 sketch, at right, with co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson) recently revealed a few upcoming episode secrets, proving that what happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas. Of course, Cam and Mitchell's wedding is coming up and a bachelor party is inevitable. In true comedic fashion, though, the couple finds themselves in the midst of someone else's celebration rather than their own.

Entertainment Weekly reports:

“We just shot an episode that was kind of an anti-bachelor party episode in Vegas,” says the man who plays Cam. “When we get there we run into Langham, Mitchell’s ex played by the great Fred Armisen, and he’s there having his bachelor party. And they say ‘Well, while you’re here, feel free to stop by,’ and he hands me a piece of paper with all the happenings, and I turn and I go, ‘Wow, an actual gay agenda.’ So I sneak off and go and participate in their bachelor party while Mitchell gets a sauna and gets a message.”

Sounds like things may get a little rowdy, but will we see some ever-elusive "Modern Family" gay PDA?

Head over to EW and listen to Eric Stonestreet's podcast! And let us know your favorite Cam/Mitchell moments in the comments below.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson Pledges $10K to Australian Gay Marriage Fight

Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson has pledged $10,000 of his own money towards the marriage equality efforts in Australia.

Wrote Ferguson on his marriage equality organization Tie the Knot’s website:

Jesse tyler fergusonLike many marriage equality advocates we were saddened to hear that Australia’s High Court recently overturned the law that legalized same sex marriage in their great country. A marriage equality bill had JUST passed the parliament in October, so our hearts went out to those people who were suddenly stripped of those rights. Couples who had wed in that short window had to face the reality that their marriages were now annulled. Having been through a similar situation with Proposition 8 here in California, we could really empathize with the frustration and sadness of those who supported and fought for marriage equality. Newlyweds ourselves, Justin and I kept thinking how devastated we would have been if suddenly we were no longer recognized as a legal couple.

Tie The Knot has always focused its efforts on marriage equality in the United States, but there is no doubt in my mind that this is a great opportunity to bring attention to the journey toward marriage equality that Australia is currently embarking on. We have great faith in their strength and perseverance…. so much so I am personally pledging $10,000 toward the marriage equality efforts in Australia.

It was announced last week that the cast and crew of Modern Family would be heading to Australia to shoot an upcoming vacation-themed episode.
