Boy George on Prison: 'I Had it Coming for a While'

Boy George talked about bring sentenced to prison and his prison experience on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. Said George: "I had it coming for a while. It wasn't that big a surprise for me...I knew it was going to happen. I expected it to happen." He also talks about the gifts he received: a ghetto blaster from Elton John, teapots, a "chocolate willie", and gay porn magazines.

In part two he talks about his addictions, the song he wrote for Amy Winehouse, decorating his jail cell, and a new single coming out in December.

Lighten Up, Homo: Ross Cleared of Offending You

British TV host Jonathan Ross has been found "not in breach" of the broadcasting code for remarks he made in May on his Radio 2 show that parents might want to put any Hannah Montana-loving sons up for adoption before they bring a "partner" home.

The ruling by Ofcom, which monitors offensive comments on the air, said in part, "The comment was clearly presented as a joke intended to make light of the reactions that some parents have if their child chooses a toy that is very widely recognised to be designed and marketed for the opposite sex...The fact that this comment was intended to be a joke was illustrated further by the reaction from Andy Davies, who was heard laughing."

So apparently if you're joking, it's impossible to offend or cause harm.

Gay-rights advocate Derek Munn said, "The fact that a comment is light-hearted does not absolve it from perpetuating the stereotypes that lead to homophobic bullying, which is reflected in the 61 separate complaints listeners made."

For his part, Ross Tweeted after the incident, "Am mortified to hear some people thought I was being homophobic on Radio show. Nothing could be further from the truth, as I am sure most know."

Whether you think this is a case where gay people were way too easily offended or a case of clear-cut homophobic humor, the Ofcom ruling's reasoning regarding humor, the intent to offend and the potential for children to imitate the remark on the playground is, well, a joke. As is Ross's sincere belief that just because one is not a card-carrying homophobe, it's impossible to say or do anything to offend gay people.

UK host Jonathan Ross Under Fire for Homophobic Remark

Radio 2 host Jonathan Ross has been criticized for remarks he made during a show on Saturday when he made jokes about prizes in a Miley Cyrus 'Hannah Montana' contest.

Said Ross: "If your son asks for a Hannah Montana MP3 player, you might want to already think about putting him down for adoption before he brings his, erm, partner home."

The Press Association reports: "A spokeswoman for Ofcom was unable to say how many people had complained but said: 'We have had complaints. We are assessing those complaints against the broadcasting code.' ... A BBC spokeswoman said: 'The BBC has received four complaints about Jonathan's comments on Saturday's show. However, these off-the-cuff remarks were made purely in jest and were not intended to be offensive. Jonathan is not homophobic in any sense and never meant for his comments to be taken seriously.'"

Lady GaGa: 'I Do Have a Really Big Donkey Dick'

Lady GaGa appeared on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross in the UK and discussed her name, her outrageous fashion, her parents, her inspirations, and the phrase "you're bluffin' with your muffin" from the song Poker Face.

Ross also asked her if rumors are true that she's really a very well-endowed young man. Said GaGa: "Well, I do have a really big donkey dick."

Added GaGa: "'Bluffin' with your muffin,' it's about Poker Face-ing with your sexuality. When I was making love to my old boyfriend I used to think about making love to women sometimes. I never told him but I'm sure he's watching now."
