Kenny Chesney to Launch Fashion Line

Chesney

Kenny 'I didn't sign up to be called gay' Chesney is launching a fashion line, People reports:

"The pieces — for men and women — are designed to look and feel like 'that favorite T-shirt that you’ve washed a lot that is kind of sun bleached… your favorite khakis, and your shirt that you’ve had forever,' he tells PEOPLE. (Naturally, there are worn-in baseball caps, too.) Chesney was so involved in the design process that he even name-checks friends on some of the items. 'I’ve got a shirt that says 'Bob’s Charter' and Bob is a buddy of mine that’s been living in the islands for a long time.'”

Kenny Chesney: I Didn't Sign Up to Be Called 'Gay'

Chesney

Kenny Chesney tells Playboy that he's slept with more than 100 women, and they will testify that he's not gay. He also says he's angry about the gay rumors that continue to follow him:

"What guy who loves girls wouldn't be angry about that ...? I didn't sign up for that. I think people need to live their lives the way they want to, but I'm pretty confident in the fact that I love girls (laughs). I've got a long line of girls who could testify that I am not gay."

road.jpg Will John Edwards come around now on gay marriage? "Asked about his position on same-sex marriage a year ago, John Edwards said that he 'personally [does] not' support gay marriage, citing his religious beliefs as basis for his opposition. Even without the hindsight we have recently acquired about Edwards' own marriage, this was the response of a bigot. We now know that as with most bigots, Edwards is a hypocrite. As he was spewing inane statements about being "on a journey" on the issue of gay marriage, he surely had to remember the journey that lead him just months earlier to break his civil obligations and spiritual vows in his union with his wife Elizabeth."

But it's really more than that. ... Marriage, it is really more about love and family."

Country Singer Kenny Chesney to Anderson Cooper: I'm Not Gay

In a 60 Minutes interview to be aired this Sunday, country star Kenny Chesney talks to Anderson Cooper for the first time about his divorce to Renee Zellweger. In the interview, Chesney speaks out about the separation papers which listed "fraud" as the reason for the annulment. He says many people assumed that the fraudulence referred to his sexuality:

Chesney"The only fraud that was committed was me thinking that I knew what it was like ... that I really understood what it was like to be married, and I really didn't. We thought the least harmful (stated reason) was fraud because it (is) kind of broad … doesn't specify. And boy … we were wrong...It's not true (that I'm gay). Period. Maybe I should have come out and said no, I'm not (gay), but I didn't want to draw any more attention to it … I didn't have to prove to anybody that I wasn't (gay) … I didn't feel like I really did...Even though I'd sit here and say I wish we'd gotten divorced instead of all that annulment stuff and saved me a lot of public humiliation … I still don't have any regrets. I loved her, you know? And it was real."

Chesney appears in the current swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated alongside Marissa Miller. So, of course he can't be gay(!) Though I'm sure, as far as the rumors go, he and Anderson have quite a bit to talk about.
