Tom Daley Enjoys Some Buff Diving: VIDEO

Dan Osborne, a cast member on TOWIE (The Only Way is Essex, Britain's answer to Jersey Shore), made a splash this week on the UK version of the reality diving competition Splash.

Forgive host Gabby Logan and mentor Tom Daley if they're a bit distracted by his, erm, tattoos.

Said Osborne: "I didn’t choose them trunks. At first I was like, “No way, that’s not happening. They went for it, they really did. They went to town on my trunks. They were well cool. After Splash!, I’m keeping them. I’m going to wear them on my next holiday – I’m taking them to Dubai with me."

TV's Bachelor Continues Damage Control Over Anti-Gay Remarks, Will Meet with GLAAD, Gay Families

TV's Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis spoke with GLAAD yesterday and is planning a standard dog and pony show to make amends for his anti-gay remarks.

2jp_galavisSaid Galavis to GLAAD:

"I have heard from many gay Latinos today who are hurt because of what I said and I apologize. I know gay parents and I support them and their families. They are good parents and loving families. I am a father and I know the feel of being a father, why wouldn't I want my gay friends to also be happy parents? I also want gay and lesbian youth to know that it is fine to be who you are. Gay or straight, Black or White, Latin or American, what matters here is to respect who we are. I look forward to meeting with gay and lesbian families as well as Monica [Trasandes, GLAAD's Director of Spanish-Language and Latino Media] and Wilson [Cruz] from GLAAD. Gay and lesbian people, and the children they are raising, wrongfully face discrimination and I want them to know that I'm on their side."

Galavis said in an interview that gays are "perverted" and therefore a gay-themed version of The Bachelor would not set a "good example" for children.

ABC has tried to distance itself from the remarks and released a statement: "Juan Pablo’s comments were careless, thoughtless and insensitive, and in no way reflect the views of the network, the show’s producers or studio."

Juan Pablo Galavis: Gay Version of 'The Bachelor' Would Not Be 'a Good Example for Kids' - AUDIO

Juan Pablo Galavis, TV's 'Bachelor', was asked by Sean Daly at The TV Page what he would think about producers creating a gay version of the show.

Says Galavis:

"I don’t think it is a good example for kids to watch that on TV."

Galavis then points out a manager or pr person at the interview named Peter, noting that Peter is gay and he respects him but still can't fathom two men doing the same thing that a man and woman do.

Continues Galavis:

"...Obviously people have their husband and wife and kids and that is how we are brought up. Now there is fathers having kids and all that, and it is hard for me to understand that too in the sense of a household having people. Two parents sleeping in the same bed and the kid going into bed. It is confusing in a sense. But I respect them because they want to have kids. They want to be parents. So it is a scale. Where do you put it on the scale?  Where is the thin line to cross or not? You have to respect everybody’s desires and way of living. But it would be too hard for TV."

Finally, to sum up his remarks, Galavis calls gay people "more pervert in a sense."

'Duck Dynasty' Star Phil Robertson Blasts Homosexual 'Sinners' Who are Going to Hell Like Terrorists

Phil Robertson, the star of A&E's massive reality hit Duck Dynasty, has made some outrageous remarks in a new interview in GQ.

From the profile:

What does repentance entail? Well, in Robertson’s worldview, America was a country founded upon Christian values (Thou shalt not kill, etc.), and he believes that the gradual removal of Christian symbolism from public spaces has diluted those founding principles. (He and Si take turns going on about why the Ten Commandments ought to be displayed outside courthouses.) He sees the popularity of Duck Dynasty as a small corrective to all that we have lost.

What, in your mind, is sinful?

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bstiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men,” he says. Then he paraphrases Corinthians: “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”

During Phil’s darkest days, in the early 1970s, he had to flee the state of Arkansas after he badly beat up a bar owner and the guy’s wife. Kay Robertson persuaded the bar owner not to press charges in exchange for most of the Robertsons’ life savings. (“A hefty price,” he notes in his memoir.) I ask Phil if he ever repented for that, as he wants America to repent—if he ever tracked down the bar owner and his wife to apologize for the assault. He shakes his head.

“I didn’t dredge anything back up. I just put it behind me.”

As far as Phil is concerned, he was literally born again. Old Phil—the guy with the booze and the pills—died a long time ago, and New Phil sees no need to apologize for him: “We never, ever judge someone on who’s going to heaven, hell. That’s the Almighty’s job. We just love ’em, give ’em the good news about Jesus—whether they’re homosexuals, drunks, terrorists. We let God sort ’em out later, you see what I’m saying?”

Adds Robertson:

“It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

GLAAD has condemned the remarks and says it has reached out to A&E:

"Phil and his family claim to be Christian, but Phil's lies about an entire community fly in the face of what true Christians believe," said GLAAD spokesperson Wilson Cruz. "He clearly knows nothing about gay people or the majority of Louisianans – and Americans - who support legal recognition for loving and committed gay and lesbian couples. Phil's decision to push vile and extreme stereotypes is a stain on A&E and his sponsors who now need to reexamine their ties to someone with such public disdain for LGBT people and families."

Duck Dynasty is now a $400 million brand it has become so successful.
