Watch: Robert Pattinson Kisses Taylor Lautner at MTV Movie Awards

After winning 'Best Kiss' with co-star Kristen Stewart at the MTV Movie Awards last night, Robert Pattinson decided to offer something else Twi-hards have been asking for. He headed to the audience to find Taylor Lautner.

Following the show, the other Twilight stars discussed, MTV reports:

"It was about damn time, man. It's been up in the air for about three years now. I think we've all been waiting for Rob and Taylor to kiss," Jackson Rathbone told MTV News when we caught up with him backstage at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. "We knew it was coming, and finally it did. Finally, they acknowledged their love for each other."

Rathbone's vampire brother Kellan Lutz admitted he was a bit surprised, but their co-star Peter Facinelli shared a little secret about how the RPattz/Taylor smooch went off without a hitch.

"They asked us to show them in practice," Facinelli said.

"We taught them everything they know," Lutz confirmed.

First Look: Robert Pattinson in David Cronenberg's 'Cosmopolis'

A first look at David Cronenberg's upcoming film Cosmopolis, featuring Robert Pattinson and Sarah Gadon.

JoBlo notes: "The adaptation of the book by Don DeLillo, 'follows the life of newly married billionaire Eric Packer (Pattinson) as he cheats on his wife (Gadon), is pursued by a stalker (Giamatti), gets attacked by a protester and gradually loses his entire fortune over the course of a single day.' Much of the story takes place in the back of a limo, but the vehicle in the photo looks more like a taxi."

Robert Pattinson on the Pressures of Being a Shirtless Sex Object

The Twilight star sounds off on a variety of topics in a new EW cover story, among them the physical requirements demanded of a Hollywood leading vampire.

PattinsonEW: And after you do press for Elephants you’re going straight into David Cronenburgs Cosmopolis?

Pattinson: Yes, I’m so excited, and I’m freaking out. I have no prep time, and it’s a Don DeLillo book with semi-obscure dialogue, and I have to change my body shape quite a bit. I’m playing one of those masters-of-the-universe types, and I have to have about 6 percent body fat… which means I need to lose about 70 percent. [Laughs]

EW: So its gym time.

Pattinson: If I could just cut out beer, that’s my one thing. At the beginning of [Breaking Dawn] I had to be really buff because I had to have my shirt off. And when I start [getting fit], I just go crazy about it. It’s like the only thing I can talk about to anyone. So I was like, “I’m going to keep this up the whole time, so for whatever movie I do afterwards I’m going to be so buff.” And then literally one day after my last shirt off scene I started being all [mimics eating voraciously] nom, nom, nom. And I didn’t realise I had one more [shirt off] scene, and you can see it in one of them- I’m clearly [exaggeratedly sucks in his stomach and cheeks].
