Sexy Time: Man-kini Skiiers Rock the French Alps

Mankinis

Towleroad reader Ian Osband sends in in a clip of himself and a fellow Oxford University student. They recently took on the ski jump recently at popular French Alps resort Val Thorens, wearing nothing but Borat-style neon thongs.

Upon further investigation I found another clip of a dude making "sexy time" at another French Alp resort, Alpe d'Huez (below). I've got to say the camerawork in the second video is pretty impressive. Both clips are possibly NSFW, due to the revealing nature of the man-kini.

Watch them, AFTER THE JUMP...

road.jpg Spain is "key front" in Vatican's church-state battle: " In a recent interview in Madrid, the secretary general of the Spanish Bishops Conference, Msgr. Juan Antonio Martínez Camino, said it was important for the church 'to use all the means at its disposal to promote and defend its fundamental rights.' He called the 2005 law legalizing gay marriage and adoption 'very strange and very irrational and very unjust.' The implications are broader, since Spain, with its 42 million Catholics, remains a touchstone for Latin America. South America alone has 324 million Catholics, the world’s largest concentration."

road.jpg Earth's temperature record "smashed" in January: "The temperature of the world's land and water combined — the most effective measurement — was 1.53 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than the 20th-century average of 53.6 for January, breaking the old record by more than one-quarter of a degree. Ocean temperatures alone didn't set a record. That didn't just nudge past the old record set in 2002, but broke that mark by 0.81 degrees, which meteorologists said is a lot, since such records often are broken by hundredths of a degree at a time."

road.jpg Boy band tycoon Lou Pearlman on the run from the FBI? Idolator: "There are now 16 suits pending against Pearlman, seeking a total of $134 million. His alleged transgressions are hard to encapsulate--the Orlando Sentinel has an entire Pearlman archive--but one of the most pressing accusations is that he was running an ambitious Ponzi scheme to bilk investors. Considering the scope of the investigation, we're sure Pearlman will show up soon; in fact, we're guessing you can find him right now at some undisclosed Disney nightclub, where he's eating fistfuls of Mars bars and asking the waiters if they can hit a mid-range falsetto."

The cards don't directly refer to homosexuality, only extolling the person to 'Be You' or 'This is who I am' or featuring a rainbow, a symbol of gay pride."

When there is hesitation about marriage equality, when there is discussion of setting up a separate but equal — but unequal — system, we do not have equal justice under the law. And we will be here until we get full equality under the law.”

A Real Ski Bum: Rainer Schoenfelder

Rainer Schoenfelder, an Austrian skier and sometime pop star, lost a bet with his physiotherapist who had been treating him for neck and back pain. He told his therapist that if the pains subsided by Wednesday, he'd ski down Switzerland's Lauberhorn in the altogether.

SchoenfelderWell, his pains subsided and was forced to hit the slopes wearing yellow boots, an orange helmet, and gloves, catching the attention of, well, just about everyone, including a nearby photographer.

Said Schoenfelder: "Somehow I didn't notice the photographer. It was an internal bet and of course the whole thing wasn't planned for the public. I am happy, though, that the pains have eased up and that it was not cold when I honored my debt."

Austria's head ski coach Toni Giger didn't have a problem with it: "I have no problem with nudity in general. I haven't seen the pictures but no one was hurt. ... This was typical Schoenfelder behavior."

I'm sure Schoenfelder's glad that he didn't take a spill.

After the jump, Schoenfelder's ski run...
