Jamie Dornan Does His Best to Sell You Underwear

Dornan1

In June I linked to some shots of Jamie Dornan in the new Calvin Klein Jeans campaign. He's now taken them off for Calvin Klein underwear's F/W campaign, shot by Steven Klein. One more shot plus a "making of" video, AFTER THE JUMP...

Smells Like Teen Spirit: Steven Klein Explores Pit Sniffing in Argentina

Electricyouth

Electric Youth magazine (which recently showcased model/actor Justin Gaston) features a new portfolio by photographer Steven Klein shot in Argentina. Not quite sure what to think about the choice of cover image except to say that it's the pits.

Madonna Boytoy Jesus Luz Ready to Box in Dolce Gabbana Campaign

Dolce

The first shot has been released in Dolce & Gabbana's fall 2009 and features a full set of modeling veterans — David Gandy, Noah Mills, The City's Adam Senn, Julienne Quevenne, and even Eva Herzigova. But the skin-baring camera hog here is Jesus Luz. Everyone else seems to look slightly displeased.

The photo was shot by Steven Klein at Brooklyn's Gleason's Gym, a well-known boxing gym.

Dolce & Gabbana by Steven Klein feat. Adam Senn from The City

Here's another shot from Dolce & Gabbana's new campaign shot by Steven Klein, featuring the same cast as the first ad, which I posted the other day.

And that's Adam Senn from the Hills spin-off, The City, hovering in the background in both.

You can view the first one, AFTER THE JUMP...

Steven Klein May Still Remain Anonymous, His Date Not So Much

Dg

Above, a shot from photographer Steven Klein's latest enigmatic campaign for Dolce & Gabbana. The City's Adam Senn takes a spot in the background.

In related news, Klein and Madonna had dinner together at New York's Waverly Inn over the weekend. The Daily Mail identified Klein as a "mysterious new beau". Mysterious yet undoubtedly platonic. The NY Post followed suit (h/t chexydecimal).

No doubt Madonna ordered the salmon. And, perhaps it is working.

Gebhard: "'Overall, Kinsey would be disappointed.'...Gebhard said Kinsey and his research team avoided looking for causes for sexual orientation out of concern that the findings could be used against people. Through sexual history interviews, they instead sought to capture snapshots of human sexual experience, which proved to be fluid, according to their research, with individual sexual preferences or orientation often moving along the heterosexual-homosexual scale during one's lifetime."

road.jpg Ecumenical Catholic Church shrinks as other denominations begin to accept gays and lesbians: "When Archbishop Mark Shirilau founded the Ecumenical Catholic Church in 1987, he did so to provide a religious home for gays and lesbians. Now, with the Episcopal Church ordaining gay priests and the United Church of Christ performing same-sex weddings, the Riverside-based denomination is losing members. As more mainstream churches reach out toward gays and lesbians, many gays are leaving churches like Shirilau's. The largest gay Catholic group, Dignity, lost nearly half its active members in the past decade."
