Whatever the injustice, Cyd, you come across as a true whiner in your account of this. Really, the world is not fair. Get a grip, get tough, and get the story the next time. Don't ruin your rep or that of gay journalism's right now by acting all faggy. Yeah, you were dissed, but that happens.
Good luck.

Your accounts of what transpired after your rejection sounds very stalkerish
Well, I have learned that you teach other people how to treat you. If I was in the same situation, I would have been much more aggressive about getting the interview; why stop after you hear one no? Secondly I'm certainly not gonna allow someone to discriminate against me if I can prevent it. If I couldn't persuade the guy the guy into granting me an interview, I would of proclaimed discrimination, LOUDLY, in front of all the other reporters.

Well, first of all, the writer of the article isn't the person who posted article on Towleroad, so he most likely isn't going to be reading comments directed to him about it.
The writer is a professional sports writer for a magazine. He has to behave in a professional manner at such events as described in his article. He just can't go and yell out "discrimination" at the event without getting a bad reputation. He handled the situation in the proper fashion, in my opinion, by writing about the experience and pointing out what happened. Perhaps the Hamms' press agents were trying to avoid the questions the writer intended to ask them. Was it wrong? Yeah, I think it was wrong of them to exlude him because he wrote for a gay magazine. Is Paul Hamm's sexuality ambigious to anyone?
I have no problem with Cyd's bringing the facts of that day to the attention of the public by writing about it. I don't think he is acting "faggy" at all...whatever that means.
