Giudecca, La Donna della Salute and San Giorgio, a painting by JMW Turner which went on display yesterday at Christie's in London may set a new record for a British painting when it goes up for auction in New York in April.

  3. dreadfully drab frame on that painting....and tired hazing rituals above....cute to show that andy. reminds me of the tired misunderstood sophomoric attempts at risque behavior at the prisons in iraq.

    montana seems far more beautiful....vistas offer more possibilities than broken records -- snore.

  5. God...Turner. I'd give my left nut to have one of his pieces -- actually, I love the very late career unfinished pieces they have at the Tate Britain so this one os a bit "done" for me. But bloody hell, a Turner it is. Genius.
