  1. Four particularly ugly, out of shape people, who feel that everyone should have to look upon their bare asses, were arrested in SF yesterday pestering strangers/protesting the nudity ban there.

The tyranny of the public not wanting to see your stuff dangling is just SO unfair.

  3. GHANA!!! Man while at University I had the pleasure of knowing a half a dozen Ghanaians all whom said i was their first gay friend and that I changed their view of us. Going to NYC/Philly/DC every time I've had a Ghana national as a taxi driver they always say the same thing once i start chatting with them [my voice gives me away]: 'See I like you gay people, Ghana doesn't know what its missing! you are clean and respectful, most of the time chatty and great tippers' the best comment I heard from a woman 'one day the world will realize how wonderful it is to have gay people. till then i will be prejudice and try to pick up the gay customers before straight looking people.' i understood what she was trying to say and found it amusing.

  4. Oh, please, please, please let Egg Romney run for office! I know it will never happen, but I'd love to hear her pitch to "You People" in Massachusetts.

She's one of the few people who are even more loathsome than her spineless bully of as husband.

  6. If Ann Romney runs, instead of a red pickup truck she can ride her dancing horsey to campaign stops. You know, the one Mitt charged us, the U.S. taxpayers, for by claiming a $77,000 annual "business" expense to cover Ann's horsey (including multiple $1,000 saddles). However, enough of that, "you people" don't deserve someone as talented as Ann. She speaks French, you know.

If Taggert runs, he can wow us with his "military" service. According to Mitt, his sons all served their country by working in his campaign. That was in response to a reporter's question about why none of his sons ever considered military service since Mitt's so gung-ho on that stuff. Mitt served his country during the Vietnam war by trying to talk the French into giving up wine, coffee and cigarettes, along with 10% of their income. It was tough work. Especially since they had "only one house boy who prepared two meals a day."

Just be sure to run on the same message that worked so well last year.

  7. @Escaped From SF

From your user name I'm going to assume that you aren't even here anymore, so you don't know about the politics behind this. That makes your ignorant, shallow, and judgmental comments on the issue even worse.

  8. Senator Ann-Imelda Romney? (The Imelda is added in 'honor' of I Marcos.) Don't make me laugh! A., even that would be too much like a, you know, JOB for her and B., she couldn't get elected dog-catcher. (Though maybe "Official Horse-Mane Braider," though I'm sure she has grooms to do that for her.)

And Tagg? How much of a "successful businessman" can he be if he can take off for a year + to work on his dad's campaign? He's certainly not essential to the business, that's for sure. He would be my top vote to star in an American Psycho remake though. http://cdn2.elitedaily.com/elite/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/elite-daily-tagg-romney.jpg

  9. That's nice Rutgers has named their center after Tyler Clementi. But I don't think he killed himself over being 'bullied'. I know it fits the narrative, and part of the narrative is to turn poor guys like Tyler into martyrs for the gay cause, but I don't think it's based on reality. The gay community, gay people [just like all people] need to look more inwardly when confronting many of life's difficulties. The answer will usually be found from within..within one's self, within the particular 'community' you associate with.

  10. The Republican party in Massachusetts is decimated. A big reason for this is lack of support from the national Republican Party, who consider the MA Republicans too middle of the road.

My theory is both main political party's, but especially the two more extreme ideologies, the so-called left and the so-called right, need enemies, someone or place to point fingers at. The far right [who have a knife at the national Republican Party's throat] like having a place like Massachusetts, the northeast, California to point fingers at. The far left [who hold a knife to the national Democratic Party's throat] use 'red states' as foils.

  11. I really think you're wrong about Tyler Clementi, Ratbastard. True, there were other issues in his life like feeling that his mother rejected him (whether that was true or not). But more people saw the original make-out session (or whatever) than is generally acknowledged. Dharun Ravi showed Molly Wei, then later she opened the camera BACK up to show a group of her friends, something like 5 or 6 of them.

He was generally known to be very shy, private, and I think his embarrassment over that exposure and becoming the subject of gossip in the dorm led directly to his death.

Now you can argue that he lacked the fortitude or whatever to look past that event, but that's not unusual for people that age. If it were, there would be very few teen suicides of any type. Perhaps it was only temporary but he was overwhelmed by those events, perhaps in addition to others, and he took his own life. If it wasn't the ONLY reason it was certainly the event that greased the skids.

  12. Senator Campfield is right - just look at this list of straight people bullied to death by gay people:

Good lord, will the oppression of heterosexuals never end?

    Posted by: FuryOfFirestorm | Feb 3, 2013 1:58:37 PM

  13. Those poor, oppressed, heterosexual evangelicals!! Yeah, right. Actually, my patience has run out with those reprobates and I might just begin to bully them, starting with Senator Campfield. Like, kicking his stupid heterosexual evangelical butt clear into next week.

  14. worth noting - grown adults in politics like Stacey Campfield did more to contribute to the culture of hate that drove Clementi to take his own life than the actions of his schoolmates who took the fall.

no joke. anti-gay brats being brats in a culture that doesn't hate gay people have no impact. Ravi and Wei? trickle-down bigotry.

Clementi's own parents having belonged, for so long, to that anti-gay church.

the invasion of privacy issues are legit. but Ravi's words and actions alone are not the reason we've lost Clementi - Ravi, a college student, was merely parroting the same ideologies that grown adults in politics, like Campfield, Santorum,et al, get paid money and earn political clout for spouting.
