Screen Shot 2013-12-18 at 10.18.10 AM

A trailer has been released for Mitt, the upcoming Netflix-original documentary that centers around Mitt Romney's bid for the White House last year.

The film looks to be full of interesting behind the scenes moments from the campaign, including his emotional election night defeat and his own reflections on being seen as "the flipping Mormon" while on the trail.

Check it out, AFTER THE JUMP...

Mitt premieres January 24th on Netflix.

  1. Why would I ever contribute any money that might find its way to his hands via royalties?

  3. Obviously Ann Romney's moment of self-awareness has passed and she is back to her normal pompous self.

  4. So what's the point... that we're suppose to feel sorry somehow that he lost, forget all the lies he told, sweep under the carpet that he would have further enriched the 1% at the cost of the other 99%? Someone who hates the liberal state of California so much that he decided to build his retirement castle here? Good grief, it's bad enough we have to suffer though the beatification of St. Ronnie - now begins the makeover of Mitt? What is wrong with these people?

  6. What? Apart from everything else, he, who could well afford a travel steamer, ironed his clothes while wearing them?
Good God, did we ever dodge a bullet!

  7. Reason enough to cancel Netflix.

  8. O c'mon. It was great fun to watch the Romney campaign implode-one disastrous f**kup after another.

But it didn't come close to the Sarah Palin side-show.

  11. Did they keep the part where he just goes straight home after the election and doesn't pay his campaign workers after he loses?

  15. Are we supposed to suffer ongoing exposure to this cultic bully and dillettante presidential failure as we do with Momma Bear Palin? Let the man fade into oblivion so he can savor the future godhood he craves.

  16. Wy in God's name would I want to watch this crap?

  17. Cory - "Undefeated" isn't the Sarah Palin documentary of the same name. It's an Oscar winning doc about a Tennessee high school football team. So at least this "Mitt" has been made by a talented filmmaker. Looks interesting to me.

  18. Ann Romney: 'Too bad the election isn't today'.
She still wants to be the queen. She may have to remarry to fulfill her dream. How about marrying Christi.

  20. Wow, we dodged that bullet ... except for Obama's many scandals...
    1. IRS targets Obama’s enemies
    2. Benghazi - actually 3 scandals
    3. Watching the AP: The Justice Department performed a massive cull of Associated Press reporters’ phone records as part of a leak investigation.
    4. Rosengate: The Justice Department suggested that Fox News reporter James Rosen is a criminal for reporting about classified information and subsequently monitored his phones and emails.
    5. Potential Holder perjury I: Attorney General Eric Holder told Congress he had never been associated with “potential prosecution” of a journalist for perjury when in fact he signed the affidavit that termed Rosen a potential criminal.
    6. The ATF “Fast and Furious” scheme: Allowed weapons from the U.S. to “walk” across the border into the hands of Mexican drug dealers. The ATF lost track of hundreds of firearms, many of which were used in crimes, including the December 2010 killing of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.
    7. Potential Holder Perjury II: Holder told Congress in May 2011 that he had just recently heard about the Fast and Furious gun walking scheme when there is evidence he may have known much earlier.
    8. Sebelius demands payment: HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius solicited donations from companies HHS might regulate. The money would be used to help her sign up uninsured Americans for ObamaCare.
    9. The Pigford scandal: An Agriculture Department effort that started as an attempt to compensate black farmers who had been discriminated against by the agency but evolved into a gravy train delivering several billion dollars in cash to thousands of additional minority and female farmers who probably didn’t face discrimination.
    10. GSA gone wild: The General Services Administration in 2010 held an $823,000 training conference in Las Vegas, featuring a clown and a mind readers. Resulted in the resignation of the GSA administrator.
    11. Veterans Affairs in Disney World: The agency wasted more than $6 million on two conferences in Orlando. An assistant secretary was fired.
    12. Sebelius violates the Hatch Act: A U.S. special counsel determined that Sebelius violated the Hatch Act when she made “extemporaneous partisan remarks” during a speech in her official capacity last year. During the remarks, Sebelius called for the election of the Democratic candidate for governor of North Carolina.
    13. Solyndra: Republicans charged the Obama administration funded and promoted its poster boy for green energy despite warning signs the company was headed for bankruptcy. The administration also allegedly pressed Solyndra to delay layoff announcements until after the 2010 midterm elections.

  22. Oh WeHo honey. Get yourself a cocktail, maybe some medical marijuana and a well hung man and grab the pillow. You will be so much better off dear. And so much happier.

  24. @WEHO: You should have stopped at "Wow, we dodged that bullet." WE WHO follow politics closely don't need to read your long list of half truths and exaggeration. By the way, are you the WEHO who accused Obama of getting in bed with the Iranians? Any moron knows that he is trying to peacefully get Iran to stop it's development of Nuclear Weapons.

  25. WEHO was one of those Mitt's supporters who said he was going to win before the election. He has since disappeared from Towleroad and now resurfaced with a different name after a long grieving period. We has to remind him again. Mitt Romney lost!
