Brokeback Mountain Casting
Towleroad scoops Variety! Today, Variety and the Hollywood Reporter announce that Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger are indeed in negotiations to play the cowboy lovers in Ang Lee's adaptation of Brokeback Mountain.

Shame indeed that OB isn't involved, cuz I'm not really convinced that Heath Ledger can pull it off... the role that is... Jake Gyllenhaal might be convincing, as he already has that tormented expression.

I think its great that Jake Gyllenhaal is doing it. He is a great actor and will surprise everyone

Anyone who has seen "Red Dirt" knows that Walton Goggins would be perfect casting. Jake Gyllenhaal is a good choice, but i have my doubts about Heath Ledger.

Orlando Bloom couldn't pull it off for shit. he'd do a better job as waiter #2.
