The Great American Smoke Out

With all the wingnut talk of Brokeback “raping” the image of the Marlboro man, I thought I’d see what would happen if I combined a line of dialogue from the film with a vintage cigarette ad from 1980. The result may be the first gay cowboy anti-smoking campaign, or strangely enough, a tribute to the addictive nature of Marlboros. And before I get flamed, my intent here is not to glamourize smoking (it kills!), but a brief experiment in synergy.
