Yup, that was about the most offensive commercial I think I've ever seen.. Nothing like trashing minorities to get where you want to go.
Why do I fear he'll probably win...

Because he's running in North Carolina?

Funny, I didn't know "The Twilight Zone," its logo and its themesong were all in the public domain.

When a liberal Canadian thinks of the States, he thinks of neocons and Alberta times fifty.

The sad thing is it's a minority trashing others, which happens so much. The Kings must be rolling over in their graves.

First that whack job truck/senate candidate now this guy?
Maybe there is some kind of Rovian plot going on here...

That made me sick.

Ditto, Toby. I just sent the original link from his site to the business & legal affairs department of the studio that holds the rights to the Twilight Zone.
Suck it, Vernon.

Leave it to a demagog in North Carolina to run for office promoting bigotry, hate and Christian fascist ideology all wrapped up the most offensive political ad since Jesse Helms ran for the Senate and sent out those tar-baby flyers. The question Americans need to be asking is, what's wrong with people in the South? The answer, it would seem, it's their religious indoctrination.

Jack, good job. That Ad clearly violates the copyright and trademark licensees for both the logo and the music and I'm VERY sure that Rod Serlings heirs and foundation don't want his good name sullied by any association with human trash like Vernon Robinson.

The last little scene, of the Cleaver family all backing up in their car, is perfect. Vernon and the rest of the American Taliban want to exist in a 1950's style utopia that exists only in the mind of the right wingers.

Maybe its a secret plot by the Democrats to make the Republicans look REALLY bad... Bribe a fringe candidate to make outrageously bigoted statements then ride the wave of backlash. If only.

Joe - I wish democrats were that coniving and shrewd. I really love that he first states his endorsement by Jesse Helms...a man who hated him for his race. makes you wonder if he hates himself.

Well, at least he's an equal opportunity hater.

Well, I live in North Carolina (sadly) and I'm hoping that between us gays, the Hispanic community, blacks, and women who demand control over their own bodies, we won't let this jackass represent us. The Hispanic community here, as well as other places I'm sure, is pretty much known for voting Republican because of Jesus and all, but I don't know of any candidate here who has ever shown them as wetback ifiltrators as this guy just did...he may piss them off enough to get them to vote differently in the future. I haven't seen this on tv yet...has anyone else?

Uncle Tom - ass motherfucker. I hate seeing minorities encourage bigotry against everyone EXCEPT the minority to which they belong.
