Gay marriage argued before New York's highest court: "Has marriage been defined by history, culture and tradition since the dawn of Western civilization, or is it an evolving social institution that should change with the times?" (Listen to NPR's report)

New York and New Mexico lead the country in a new ranking of states with the most favorable gay rights and reproductive rights laws. Ohio and South Dakota are tied for last place.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it: More Canadian MPs are questioning whether the gay marriage debate should be re-opened in that country. MP: "Now, people have moved on, it's just not an issue. It is for a very small minority of people. At the end of the day Canadians are much more interested in how the federal government is going to tax them, what our stance is on the increasing crime on our streets, what's the role of the military . . . and not same-gender marriage."
New BRAVO gay and lesbian site, OutZoneTV, to launch on June 12th.

ANDY TOPPED BY NICK LACHEY whose shirt barely hangs off his muscular shoulders and exposed luscious chest, his thick-lipped mouth and arms wide open, the teasing waistband of his black Calvin's an invitation to the big Nick that lies below, Lachey....Now that I have your attention: check out page 20 of the latest "Advocate" where there's a photo and brief Q&A with Mr. Towleroad himself under a picture of the former lackey for the horse-mouthed, talentless, boob-for-brains Ms. Simpson. Clearly, Andy should have been on top.

Now that the Conservative Party is in power in Canada I think they realize that what they want to do and what they get to do are two entirely different things. Since they now have to work on being reelected with a majority government, As of the present time they have to toe the line with the other three federal party's backing to stay in power, since they are a minority administration, the Conservatives have to appease the far more left and liberal parties of the Liberals, the Bloc Quebecios and the New Democratic Party. All 3 parties are left leaning and very socially progresseive. Herr Harper might want to turn Canada into "Texas Lite" most Canadians have other idea's and I think his government mininsters are begining to realize it.
