Sergio Garcia and Jose Maria Olazabal: Love on the Links

Garcia Garcia2

While I'm not suggesting that these photos are anything more than an embrace between teammates, it's nice to see that Europeans Sergio Garcia and Jose Maria Olazabal aren't afraid to get close.

The two golfers, playing for the European team in the Ryder Cup, beat United States' teammates David Toms and Brett Wetterich in their fourball match.

So, in keeping with the theme of the fourball match, Garcia and Olazabal went ahead and rubbed theirs together. Next round, we'll hope for a hole in one.

I realize I'm totally pushing it here, but hey, it's Friday, and how often do we ever get to have any fun with golf?

  1. Hmm, there are a few words to describe what you just said but "fun" doesn't come to mind; I think you pushed "it" off a cliff. At any rate, happy friday!

  2. In Spain it's usual to hold a friend or a relative (two men too). To write a post about it is completely silly.

  5. It's so sad that in the U.S. People gay and straight can't distinguish affection between people as being purely fraternal. Why is it any little hug is alway full blown intercourse waiting-to-happen? Never got that eternal adolescent frame of thought of americans.

  6. how funny - was just talking about whether there are any gay players on the men's tour in the u.s. (does not appear so) not to say that these two are.
