I think Brian Kilmeade and Steve Doocy should be water boarded on live t.v. as soon as possible, then they can tell us how it's not torture. They make it sound like it's a log ride at Six Flags so I am sure they'll do it.

What has become of our country? Disgusting Fox talking heads giggling about torture? Are they real human beings or animatronic puppets?

If you can find it, check out the "same sex couple" skit from SNL this past weekend.

I'm curious to see Death of a President. It's a good premise, though the acting in those first six minutes looks pretty stiff.

Has anyone see 'Death of a President' yet? Curious to hear how it was.

David Letterman is simply the best. It's great that he doesn't put up with any crap from that pinhead Bill O'Reilly.

Lynn Cheney makes newsworthy appearances now? Somebody should've told that bitch to shut the fuck up and stay on the sidelines and behind her gun totin' husband. It's obvious the apple truly doesn't fall far from the tree as I can now see where Mary gets her bullshit rhetoric and evasive maneuvers from. Who gives a flaming fuck about her "book"? Does this woman really believe her own bullshit? I've never been much of Wolf Blitzer fan, but my hat is off to the man for calling a spade a spade.
I couldn't agree more with Marco and Homer, only I'd like to add to that list GW, the entire Cheney family and the rest of the current administration's cabinet. Yes, even Condeliar Rice. It'll be a new reality series, "Drowning With The Stars" and Ellen Degeneres will be the MC. Jerry Springer takes a giant dump in the pool first...hilarity ensues!

Is it me or have conservatives (not the wing nuts, just your garden-variety conservatives) suddenly gone into hyper-drive extremist mode? In a commentary on an inteview with Karl Rove by NPR's Robert Seigel, radio talk show host Laura Ingraham (the fifth largest audience among nationally aired talk show hosts) extracts portions of the interview to prove her case that Rove "won" (in fact, Seigel got many more points over on Rove, but whatever), and caps the segment by pretending to forget Robert Seigel's name: "What's his name? Seigel?" and then adds a very pronounced "Oy!" Whoa. I'm not even Jewish and a chill ran down my spine. Is this barely-veiled bigotry what passes for conservative commentary now? Despicable and shameful.

Waterboarding with the Stars could be a hit, Fizz.
I'd like to add -
Bill O'Reilly is an egomanical blowhard. How could anyone take his opinion seriously? He has been wrong on everything in regards to Iraq.
Lynne Cheney a crazy bitch? Who'd -a- thunk it?
Posted by: Marco | Oct 30, 2006 4:13:46 PM
Why do you feel it necessary to call the Second Lady a "bitch"? Disagree, fine, but take your immature misogyny elsewhere. You're hurting our side, not helping.
Also, is that Blitzer-Cheney segment the one you are referring to? I don't see Blitzer attacking or challenging at all. Cheney was the one going to town on him, in the standard cynical Republican way.
Posted by: Ireland | Oct 30, 2006 4:22:35 PM
The "second lady?"Do people refer to her as much?
But, I called her a bitch because she is a screaming harpie hella-bitch. Questioning ones patriotism because she saw something on CNN she didn't like is, well, bitchy in addition to being patronizing and ridiculous.
Ireland, take your self-righteous PC blathering elsewhere. You're boring our side, not enlightening it.
Posted by: Marco | Oct 30, 2006 4:35:45 PM
As always, I fail to see how questioning the direction this country is being led (down the toilet, IMHO) is unpatriotic. But the Republicans have been able to use this argument since 9/11/01. Hopefully it won't work any longer.
Posted by: Larry | Oct 30, 2006 4:52:10 PM
THE WORLD ACCORDING TO CRAZY LYNN CHENEY:
CNN Runs video tape of Islamist attacking and killing American Soldiers = AIDING AND ABETTING ISLAMIC TERRORISTS
Republican National Committee uses the same footage in a lie and deny smear campaign against Democrats = A PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE AND VALID USE OF VIDEO TO REMIND PEOPLE OF THE THREAT WE WOULD FACE IF DEMOCRATS ELECTED TO OFFICE.
Conclusion - Lynn Cheney is a low brown, hypocritical demagog. A sewer rat has more ethics than that woman...

According to the BBC News report below "Death Of A President" has been bought by Newmarket Films in the US so it may be in cinemas soon.

Yay Marco!!!
I must apologize however. I misspelled the bitch's name. That should have read "Lynne" Cheney, not Lynn. A bitch by any other name is NOT A FUCKING FEMINIST ISSUE and still stinks to high heaven. Lynne Cheney is batshit crazy and her bitchy behavior is not indicative of a proper "second" lady.

For those of you keeping score at home, the O'Reilly/Letterman Interview clock cleaning competition now stands as follows:
Letterman - 2
O'Reilly - 0
Posted by: Robert In WeHo | Oct 30, 2006 5:18:49 PM
Lynne Cheney is ridiculous. If the news story that CNN ran is "terrorist propoganda," then what the hell are the Republican campaign ads that keep showing bin Laden and terrorists over and over again? The woman is "batshit crazy"--that is for sure.
Posted by: sean | Oct 30, 2006 7:56:36 PM
If it is NOT propoganda, then why would Blitzer NOT reveal the tape's source? CNN got the "propoganda" from the terrorist directly! I find that ironic to say the least.
Posted by: RB | Oct 30, 2006 8:53:00 PM
Ok so let's assume for the sake of argument that the media is biased and they are trying to influence the American voter by showing acts of terrorism, thus aiding the "terrorist agenda."
This current administration has used threats of terrorism, terrorist captures, unsubstantiated news of haulted attacks, and a general use of fear itself to keep the American public in the dark about what is REALLY taking place in Iraq -- Americans are dying for a country that doesn't even want them there.
How is what Wolf Blitzer and CNN are doing ANY worse than THAT? Patriotism is caring about your country and the troops enough to show what they are actually going through over there.
Lying about it or covering it up because you want to paint a rosey picture and stay in power is not just UN Patriotic. It's reprehensible.
And on the subject of Cheney and Bill O'Reilly, I don't feel a need to call anyone a name. Their slimy behavior speaks for itself.
Posted by: mark m | Oct 31, 2006 10:00:13 AM
Uh, Marco, I'm assuming you don't ever watch Bill O'Reilly, because if you did, you'd know he has often been critical of the war in Iraq. What exactly are you referring to by saying he's been (and I quote) "wrong on everything in regards to Iraq"?
Posted by: Cyd | Oct 31, 2006 10:15:26 AM
I love it when liberals call people they disagree with names like, "bitch" and, "blowhard." You all demonstrate your inate hypocrisy whenever you open your mouths! What a hoot! Keep up the good work you bleeding heart liberals! Dig your own grave deeper and deeper and I look foward to the day when I see your foolish and pathetic mind set buried deep just like it should be. I have news for you all - the majority of this country is far more conservative than you could possibly imagine and you may feel that you have millions and millions of people that feel as you do because you dwell here in your blogosphere and feel empowered as a result. I hate to tell you this kids but it's time to wake up and get ready for school! As for the comparision of CNN airing terrorist tapes and the GOP using terror threats in political ads - when are you going to realize that the media is supposed to be unbiased. Whether you like it or not, the media is left leaning. You seem to be able to see that Fox News is right leaning but, apparently, you're too simple minded to see that the liks of CNN and MSNBC (not to mention all the others like ABC, CBS and NBC) are blatently left leaning. Hahaha! The left is doomed! DOOMED! Mwahahaaa!
Posted by: The Ghost of Jacob Marley | Oct 31, 2006 10:50:33 AM
Ok, Calm it down The Ghost....
Liberal or not, we all have the right to call it like we see it and I'll be the first one to call out both Hillary AND Lynne on the b*tches that they are.
Secondly, I don't get how the media is liberal biased. The American media is just sh*tty, that's what it is. The only difference between FoxNews and MSNBC is that they're two different kinds of sh*tty. FoxNews is about 60% actual news (tainted to the right perhaps), but when global Newsweek covers headline actual global affairs while the U.S. version headlines the non-issue which is Mark Foley--that's pretty sh*tty, left, right-leaning or not.

Hey Ghost, do us all a big favor and disappear into that far, far away place called Hell. You know, it's right next to the land of make believe, the place you currently haunt.
Posted by: Cory | Oct 31, 2006 4:21:58 PM
Hey Ghost.. are you as nervous and desperate about the upcoming elections as you sound?
Mwahahaha Indeed.
Posted by: mark m | Oct 31, 2006 4:46:46 PM
I am utterly flabbergasted after watching that commentary on FOX. Do they actually mean to convince the public that a little splash in the face to terrorists who are willing to commit suicide for their cause would make them divulge anything? You got to be effing kidding me... These boneheads are obviously not to keen on their logic & reasoning skills. If Brian Kilmeade and Steve Doocy dont know exactly what waterboarding is, the fact that the govt was able to get information from these people using this method should tell them that its probably something really, really BAD.
