Packages Delivered: Boston's Santa Speedo Run

Covering this event has become an annual tradition here on Towleroad thanks to our friend in Boston, photographer Patrick Lentz, who makes sure we're not left out in the cold. 2006 is the sixth year for the run, which benefits the Ellie Fund to fight breast cancer.

Many more shots after the jump...

  4. How do I let Santa know which one of those guys I want to find under my tree?

  6. Boston boys are insanely hot.... rude, but hot

  7. Boston is a pretty white town.

    Posted by: jmg | Dec 18, 2006 11:00:11 AM

  8. Funny thing about black men, we don't consider our bodies invincible in cold weather.

    Posted by: 000000 | Dec 18, 2006 11:23:54 AM

  9. It's really not that white. You can't assume the racial profile of an entire city solely based on who participates in one charity event.

According to the census of 2000, the racial makeup of the city was 54.47% White, 25.33% Black or African American, 0.40% Native American, 7.52% Asian American, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 7.83% from other races, and 4.39% from two or more races. 14.44% of the population was Hispanic or Latino of any race. (These figures became less reliable because of the large Brazilian population, estimated by some studies to approach 250,000 in Massachusetts. Census data may not have fully accounted for this significant segment of the community because Brazilians speak Portuguese and often do not consider themselves to belong to one specific racial category, such as white or black, or to the Hispanic/Latino ethnic category.)

  10. Wow. That Jiggle Bells guy is my favourite. I went to the website specifically to see more photos of him (which there are! Hi Shawn!).

  11. Overall, I'd say the gays need to lay off the trans-fat in 2007. Nothing too appealing about anyone you've posted.

    Posted by: Bart | Dec 18, 2006 11:46:47 AM

  12. Wow, Bart. You must be watching too many gay porn DVDs and have some kind of false sense of what the human male actually looks like. I find something very appealing and sexy about most of the men pictured above. That Jingle Bells guy at the top will have me fantasizing about reindeer sex all day long. I checked out the full sex of photos and he doesn't have a perfect body, but is extremely sexy just because of that. Lots of cute guys pictured above regardless of their real body types.

    Posted by: David | Dec 18, 2006 11:56:05 AM

  13. oops, I meant to write "I checked out the entire set of photos" not the entire "sex" of photos. See, my Freudian slip shows how sexy I think these guys are.

Also, Brad, this Santa Speedo Run is not a gay event.

  14. My statement about Boston was not based solely on these pictures. I have been there many times and it has always seemed pretty lily-white.

    Posted by: jmg | Dec 18, 2006 12:01:49 PM

  15. ...And the ripped guys have busted faces. What a crap shoot.

    Posted by: 000000 | Dec 18, 2006 12:20:43 PM

  16. hey Bart, how about you send Andy a photo of yourself in a speedo and let him post it. leave it up to a cunty homo to be critical of over 200 runners baring most of it all to raise money for breast cancer. get a life man.

    Posted by: Mofo | Dec 18, 2006 12:25:13 PM

  17. I think they all look great. Lots of handsome men in Boston!!!

    Bart is a cunt.

    Posted by: Blair | Dec 18, 2006 12:42:36 PM

  18. David-

You are probably right about my watching far too much porn. Also living in NYC does make one very aware of the body beautiful.

As for everyone else (who called me cunt), first, gross. Second, you're probably feeling the burn of my words on your own flabby ass.

    Posted by: Bart | Dec 18, 2006 12:51:09 PM

  19. Bart, still waiting for that pic of your own "fabulous" ass in a speedo....... put up or shut up man.

    Posted by: Timothy | Dec 18, 2006 1:04:35 PM

  20. Oh, I guess I don't know if living in NYC makes one "aware" of the body beautiful, I live in L.A., but it sure does make one hateful and cynical............

    Posted by: Timothy | Dec 18, 2006 1:05:50 PM

  21. My ass is posted online. Just not needing to share it with the likes of you.

My comments regarding fitness stand. None of the people in that photo blog has a nice body. Personal opinion. Isn't that what this site is about.

I'm not bitter or jaded. I'm simply speaking my truth. If that make me un-popular, so be it.

    Posted by: Bart | Dec 18, 2006 1:22:09 PM

  22. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Aren't these guys, like, cold?

(Shudders and covers oneself with duvet)

    Posted by: max | Dec 18, 2006 1:44:32 PM

  23. Those guys are hot. I think Bart needs glasses. And to change his tampax.

    Posted by: Jeff | Dec 18, 2006 2:01:27 PM

  24. I'll have the "Jiggle" Bells" guy, please. Hot eyes! He's probably straight, and I'm married (to a man - this is MA after all) (although see other story in Worcester MA).
    New England is beautiful.

    Posted by: dave | Dec 18, 2006 2:16:58 PM

  25. Sorry guys--

As a Bostonian, the fact is that about 90% of the guys participating in the run were indeed straight. I was there, it was like a frat party gone awry. Also, very few of the guys there are pictured in the blog---there were some total hotties. Most importantly, regardless of all the flesh and fun--it raised a shitload of money for breast cancer research, which it what is was really all about.
