Stripperroad.jpg Two female plainclothes police officers charge Scottish male stripper with impersonating a police officer: "I said I was not a police officer, I said I am a stripper. They followed me into the bar, watched the show, then asked me to go back to the station. It was all quite friendly. When I went back later they said they were going to charge me. I have spoken to two solicitors and they do not know if it will go to court."

road.jpg Crain's POLL: "Gov. Eliot Spitzer's plan to introduce a gay marriage bill in New York state is favored by almost two-thirds of the 1,022 respondents to a recent Crain's online poll. About 63% of voters said they support a gay marriage law. If New York adopted the new legislation, it would become only the second state behind Massachusetts to legalize same-sex marriage."

Act Up Paris said it was considering appealing against the decision. In the mock wedding, a man dressed as a priest and a lesbian couple - both dressed in white wedding dresses - walked up the cathedral's main aisle and mimicked a wedding ritual while about 20 activists distributed flyers denouncing the Church."

road.jpg New York Post columnist slams Matos-McGreevey tell-all: "Dina McGreevey does a disservice to women. To wives. To honest political groupies."

road.jpg 55% of shareholders at Micron Technology Inc. vote to bar discrimination based on sexual orientation at the company, but Micron's Board of Directors refuses to accept the resolution: " This is the first time that a majority of shareholders at any U.S. company have voted to ban discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. For most social issue resolutions, receiving shareholder support ranging anywhere from 20 to 30 percent is considered a decent mandate."

  1. Those two bitches in Scotland obviously don't have enough work to do. I hope the people paying their salaries have something to say about it.

Andrea Peyser from the NY Post (rag) is a moronic c*nt who needs to keep her opinions to herself.

  2. It sounds like Matos-McGreevy's book is going to show that she was EVERY BIT as crafty and selfish as McGreevy was. I've asked the "poor Dina" crowd here over and over how they know that she didn't use him to get power, prestige and money just as much as he used her for cover. From this book review it sounds like she did just that. Like it or not, the fact of the matter is, like attracts like.

On a lighter note, Lance Bass' new friend is plum purty!

  3. This Lance/Reichen competition is at least putting gay PDA's in the tabloids. Last year they wouldn't even hold hands in public.

  4. Most of all she does a disservice to Fag-Hags everywhere!

Does Diane Von Furstenberg carry on this way? I should say not!

  8. Ironic how some items end up randomly juxtaposed with each other, in this case two celebrities who were outed. In this string we have the latest PDA by Mr. Bass, less than a year after being outed at 27 but apparently luving it even after realizing he was but another link in the chain of fools of a certain vacuous fame whore with a penchant for big dicks and big lies. What apparently hasn’t changed is his aversion to using his fame and wealth to do something concrete for his community.

In the string below is an item about the latest gay movie project of Chad Allen, outed at 22 in a way far worse than being hounded by Perez—a guy he was dating at the time sold “the photos Chad Allen prayed you’d never see” of them kissing in a swimming pool to a tabloid, which added that the kissee might have been a male prostitute [he wasn’t].

Unlike the case of Mr. Bass, this wasn’t after his career was effectively comatose, but while Allen was still the heartthrob of countless teenage girls as a costar on the Emmy-winning hit CBS family series, “Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.” Suddenly he was not just the subject of public gossip, but the center of dizzying meetings with network honchos, attorneys, et al., about what to do. Because he was neither willing to lie nor emotionally yet ready to come out, the decision was, more or less, not to respond at all, and Allen remained on the series through its final two years.

By 2001, he was ready to come out on his own, and since then has devoted much of his time on the set to appearing in/developing gay projects such as the gay detective series on here! TV, an independent film about the fake “gay conversion” industry, and this one with David Duchovny. Off the set, he doesn’t just pay lip service to doing good but probably donates as much if not more of his time to gay charities and activism as any other celebrity. From demonstrating with Judy Shepard in front of the HQ of the nefarious Focus on the “Family” to raising money with friend Chip Arndt in Florida for HIV/AIDS services and in LA for the Pride Foundation to literally putting his ass on the line to ride in the seven-day, 545-mile LifeCycle AIDS ride. He has also been open about his own years of severe depression and drug and alcohol abuse, urging others to seek help earlier than he did. Recently, the ACLU gave him a “Community Service Award,” which IMHO beats a Human Rights Champagne fund “Visibility” award any day.
