Florent Says Good-Bye

Florent, the legendary meatpacking district bistro/diner, gets a eulogy from Frank Bruni in the New York Times.
It's an institution. Here's a photo essay I did on it a while back. I'll be sad to see it go. If you happen to be in New York before June 29, pay a visit.

I absolutely love this place. Every time I'm in NYC I make sure to stop by. I will really miss the macaroni and cheese with smoked ham. :(
