News: Jake Moves In, Angelina Shoots & Scores, Bush Whacking Iran Plus Google...I Forgot What I Was Gonna Say
Barack Obama opposes the proposed California gay-marriage ban. A double-negative in favor of "I do."

Tommy Haas loses (his shirt) at Wimbledon.
Jake Gyllenhaal and longtime GF Reese Witherspoon moving in, talking straight marriage.
Grace Jones is still scary.
Beloved gay restaurant Sadly, Florent is sent packing from the Meatpacking District after 23 years. The culprit? Rent, boy!
California businesses are pushing hard for the gay-marriage dollar now that weddings are set to begin. Sample price: The Hacienda at Warm Sands in Palm Springs has a three-night honeymoon deal for anywhere between $1,895 and $2,995. The bride and bride will be registered at Citibank.
Has the Bush Administration upped covert operations against Iran ahead of the November election?
Write this 100 times on the chalkboard: Will Smith's school is NOT based on Scientology.

Cristiano Ronaldo is all washed up.
Either Madonna’s marriage or Madonna’s divorce has been called off. One way or another, they pray 6,000 miles apart.
Via HuffingtonPost, Cindy McCain—worth $100 million—can’t stay current on her property taxes.

Stunning: A tragedy for the fashion world as 20-year-old Russian covergirl Ruslana Korshunova dies in an apparent suicide leap in New York City after watching the 1990 film Ghost with a friend. FOX News staple Geraldo Rivera airs footage of her corpse. (Not available from this link.) UPDATE: This is now a confirmed suicide.
Angelina Jolie’s shoot-'em-up Wanted took in over $51 million at the box office this weekend, making it the most successful R-rated June release ever. I think it had more to do with James McAvoy’s pretty lips than AJ’s. (Did any of you see this movie? It's hysterical. Take that however you like.)

That Google article was soooo long. I couldn't get through it!

Though I love Jolie and REALLY love James McCavoy, Wanted was at best, derivative. There were plot holes, logic issues, plot gags that went no where, twists that had no time to resolve, lack of character development and just plain stupid crap.
Were it not for a nice shot of shirtless James McCavoy all buffed up and wet, I would say Wanted has delusions of mediocrity.

The shirtless McAvoy scene was the only reason to see this gore fest. I was glad it was over but the audience of straight boys I saw it with were totally turned on by the violence. They loved it and I'm sure there will be a sequel.

I'm pretty sure Wanted made me lose a few IQ points, but goddam it was fun!

I loved the comic book mini-series on which this movie is LOOSELY based. I will be skipping the movie though, as it looks to utilize the most pedestrian parts of the source material.

Eeeee WANTED was disapointing. The shirtless McAvoy was pretty much the only good scene in the movie but is it wrong for me to say so was the nude back side of Angelina Jolie... Wowy

Didn't expect to see US magazine tabloid BS about "Jake and Reese" posted here.

Eeey, well executed violence turns me on too, SAM, and I'm defo not straight :p That said, I didn't see the movie. I prefer my well-executed violence on DVD or cable and not at the price of $12 a pop.
Speaking of which, can we kinda capture, torture, maim, mutilate, and murder Osama Bin Laden and his cronies before we go trying to topple the Iranian government? Yeah, thanks.

Tommy Haas ..... yum! Nice pits!

re: Grace Jones. $200,000 for a 4 song gig? I'm in the wrong career, brothers. She was always so fun to watch in the 80s, showing up on Joan River's late night talk show, for example. Love the "La vie en rose" song, even after all this time. So many good songs, on Island Life, Slave to the Rhythm, etc. And now she's 60. Well, Pete Wentz may get the magazine covers in today's world, but Grace Jones still has her mojo working.

where are all the Obama-bashers? a gutsy stance for someone whose "safest" choice would have been to say leave it up entirely to the states, constitutional amendment or no.

I enjoyed Wanted & Mccavoy was hot. It was everything a summer movie should be. Good action & effects & totally mindless.

Tommy Haas is hot but u should have gotten pictures of another German tennis player, Nicolas Keifer, who also lost this weekend. He went commando during his match & it was apparent cuz u have to wear white at Wimbledon.

Tim, you're trying way to hard with your BS.

Ditto what Rio said. I can't believe you're linking to US, another tabloid beholden to pr and not the truth. The least you could have done was linked to MK's take on the whole story.

Yawn, D2, like you know the truth, lol.

Hard to believe Grace is 60, but sister still has it all goin' on, crazy or no crazy.
I want those photos, Scar2! I'm looking up Nicolas Keifer right now!
Reese's peanut butter krunt isn't any of my business and she and Gyllenhaal are about as interesting as milquetoast...which works in their favor. If I want interesting, I'll look forward to Keifer Sutherland and Tommy Lee doing it in the ass...not pretty, but certainly a trainwreck worth watching.
And if anyone wants to see some hot McAvoy action, watch The Last King of Scotland.
I was horribly disappointed to find that Mrs. McCain only owed a piddly sum to San Diego County. That's not enough to even bother sneezing at when you're worth over $100 million. I rather liked the other article where McCain got called a liar by his Vietnamese captor ("...but I like him..."). Nice.
And since when has ANYTHING involving Geraldo Rivera been tasteful?

HUMANIST, the Obama bashers believe in the ageless saying, "if you don't have anything bad to say, don't say anything at all."
Right-wing bitches are just jeolous of that sexy, tall, brown sugear Slim Jim's waistine, that's all.
That Renaldo guy has beautiful thighs and butt...damn.

WANTED = Fight Club + Matrix - X-Men
Tremendously beautiful violence! Even the fist-in-skull-human-shield moment. (That's not a spoiler.)
Totally mindless, but fun. They might as well have left them in superhero costumes like the comic-book. I wouldn't have had to suspend disbelief any less.
And that was soooo not Angelina Jolie's body in the bath scene.

Well, FizziekruntNT, I will happily take "milquetoast" Jake Gyllenhaal...mmmmm.

Grace Jones got alot of my money during the 80's. Once she came on so late at The Probe my bf and i got wasted and slept through her performance. Another time she opened the revamped Paladium. She was on a swing and beat the audience with a whip.People were pushing forward to get whipped! After, I knew the door guy in the VIP room. In comes Grace! Plops down next to me and says,"you, light skinned boy, get me some champagne!". I ran off to get it handed it to her and she said, "sit!" She didnt speak another word to me for almost an hour but all of my friends to this day are so jealous of me! I love her! Wish she would tour again.
