From Viral to Broadcast: 'Judgment'
A viral video created by a DailyKos diarist which earned more than 200,000 views in 48 hours, the group truth and hope produced a broadcast-quality version of the video which will soon be running in battleground states - tomorrow through Sunday in Ohio and the following week in Michigan.
The ad focuses on McCain's judgment in supporting Bush policies.
Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP...

Is New York considered a battleground state? From today's New York Sun:
New York could become a surprise battleground in this year's presidential election, with Senator McCain rapidly dissolving Senator Obama's lead in the Empire State, according to a new poll.
The poll by Siena Research Institute, conducted September 8-10, found that Mr. Obama holds a narrow 46-41% lead among likely voters, barely outside the survey's 3.9% margin of error. These numbers represent a decline for Mr. Obama, who led by 8% in the same poll in August, 13% in July, and 18% in June.
According to the survey, New York voters favor Mr. Obama on issues, including the economy, health care, the Iraq war, and education, while Mr. McCain holds an edge on national security. Mr. McCain does better than Mr. Obama when voters are asked about attributes they look for in a president, scoring higher on questions on patriotism, experience, integrity, and leadership.
Both candidates have largely ignored New York since the primaries ended, focusing their energies on more traditional swing states. The McCain campaign's New York headquarters isn't even in New York, located instead in New Jersey. The poll suggests that the climate could be right for one or both of the candidates to devote more resources to expanding their support in the state.

Hey, kids! Look who's back: Hate-filled Obsessive Gay Bore!
And he's citing a poll (as reported in the neocon NY Sun!) taken during the height of McCain's post-convention bounce to suggest that McCain has a shot at winning New York state.
Still crazy after all these years!

It comes down to one and only one issue; race.
I've had a mortifying experience this weekend, and not in the midst of some dentally challenged, pick-up driving Sons of the South; it was right here in Rhode Island's Providence Place Mall where, when questioning young, male clerk at the Sony store, was redirected, with indignity, to "the colored girl at the front counter". 2008... 1958... the times have reverted.
Unless there is some unifying surge from the minorities; non-white, female, gay, etc... I just don't see Barack winning. Every state will be a battleground state as issues are set aside over personal prejudice.
I wish they would replay Baraks acceptance speech, especially as we get close to election time. It was inspirational and uplifting. Perhaps America needs to remember that, the Statesman, the communicator, as we go into the polling places.

You're right, RAD. I wonder if Axelrod and the Obama team had some information on changing demographics that made them believe that racism wouldn't be a factor with enough Americans so that a Barack Obama candidacy wasn't a "fairy tale" (oooo, who said that back in February?). Or was it about Barack's magniticim copletely? Dangerous reason to start a campaign for president.
I haven't given up, but I'm getting a little angry...a la Reverend Wright.
