Larry Craig Men's Room Sex Case Back in Court Today

Arguments are to be heard today in court in St. Paul, Minnesota regarding the appeal of U.S. Senator Larry Craig's disorderly conduct conviction surrounding his solicitation of an undercover cop for sex in an airport bathroom, the Star Tribune reports:

"The case will be heard in St. Paul by Court of Appeals Judges Thomas Kalitowski, Natalie Hudson and Louise Bjorkman. The judges generally take cases under advisement and issue written rulings within weeks. Craig is asking to withdraw his guilty plea in the case stemming from his arrest in the summer of 2007 in a men's room at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Hennepin County District Judge Charles Porter already has rejected Craig's request to withdraw the plea."

Wonder how Craig's tell-all book is coming?

  2. I hope Craig sues the shit out of the Police and the Airport. This sex sting bullshit is a waste of taxpayer’s money and does nothing to make public bathrooms cleaner or more useful.

  3. I wish we had footage of Larry Craig and Sarah Palin together. You know, they both belong to the same wing of the Republican Party. Put lipstick on it, it's still a....

  4. How exactly would Craig be able to sue the police and the airport? I used to love tearoom action back in the day, but people don't have a constitutional right to it. Frankly, in a place as busy as an airport, getting your freak on in the bathroom isn't a smart idea. As I recall, the best tearooms have always been quiet, out-of-the-way restrooms that didn't get much traffic. I think you could make a cogent argument about the sting operation... but Craig doesn't have a legal leg to stand on when it comes to a lawsuit.

  5. Ah but who puts lipstick on who, Derrick?

    Jon Stewart RULES!!!!!

Larry Craig has no means of sueing anyone Mr. Green. He pled guilty.

    End of story.

  6. I think once you are convicted or plead guilty you lose the presumption of innocence in any appeal. A United States Senator who has pleaded guilty to hitting on an undercover policeman in a bathroom or whatever his "crime", should not remain in office.

He's a disgrace and a sad sad man.
